Jerry Lawler just posted a tout from the montreal hospital thanking everyone for their thoughts and prayers...He appeared to be tired but in good spirits...Will be good to see him back on RAW when he is able...I remember seeing him wrestle in knoxville a few times back in the mid 70's...Great performer

First feuds I ever remember were Lawler vs Bill Dundee and vs Austin Idol in Memphis in the very early 80s.

This is just miserable. That they can't allow Punk to win via merit anymore...You've got to be kidding me.

They're treating Del Rio even worse with that treatment. Del Rio is truly having to overcome the odds by cheating or changing the rules, I get the sense that Punk is just being a baby, but can still get it done inside the ropes.

There hasn't been a dominant heel in the WWE in a while. All the heels lately have always won with controversy/cheating. They need to change it up and let someone be a monster heel for a while.

that's what they did with Big Show and Henry but they just made them seem dumb and boring. A true heel a la old school HHH would be fantastic. Del Rio has all the makings of a great heel that could draw just enough fans to make matches interesting, but WWE is too busy trying to make the heels as whiny little babies.

I think its part of the PG agenda. They want to say "Hey kids! The good guys win most of the time! All the bad guys are cowards, and can't win unless they cheat!"

Yea unfortunately that has been the trend for the heels over the last few years. They have to be a chicken sh*t/coward heel who wins by luck, controversy or running out. It get's old after a while. Granted it's the "PG Era" but give a monster heel a 3-5 month reign and it help rebuild Cena and a few of the faces.

Like a previous poster said Mark Henry had the most recent monster heel run, his was great but like much of his career, that push was cut short by injury.
