As much as I hated to see The Rock lose to Austin, I would alway get tickled watching The Rock get hit with the Stunner. Nobody sold the Stunner like The Rock.

I had never saw a match that violent at the time and the crowd completely flipped that night.

You have to throw out Ken Shamrock being there in a shirt 8 sizes too small though.

Think you have to throw in Hardys vs Edge and Christian ladder match at No Mercy in 99 as well.
On second thought, i dunno if it makes the top ten, more the compilation work from these two tag teams in ladder and TLC matches. I forgot that sick mid air spear off a 20 foot ladder by Edge on Jeff Hardy was WM 17 and not this match.

Royal Rumble 2003 probably gets the nod, but the cage match on Raw and the 30-minute submission match at Backlash were also great.

As far as just inside the ring, no character associated, Benoit might have been my favorite wrestler.

Also one of the most significant matches in history. Basically it was the beginning to Stone Cold as we came to know him.

Edge & Christian's TLC matches were amazing. They had some good ones with the Dudleys too.

The three of them (Angle, Benoit, Y2J) put on a show at WM 16 in a thriple threat with the IC and Euro straps on the line. Great match, but crowd was flat as hell.

I disagree. Not many, if any, can do a complete 180 with their character and pull it off like he did when he went from Y2J to smug, suit wearing Jericho. JMO tho.
