I am now way more pumped about going to mania if he actually gets in the ring it will be awesome... It may be his send off since he may go into the hall next year since its supposed to be in Miami.... Plus his shirt was bad ass..

Good to see Vince putting the money to good use...STAMFORD, Conn., Feb 14, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Do you smell what's cookin'? The Brahma Bull(TM), Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will `bring it' to WrestleMania(R) XXVII. WWE(R) (NYSE: WWE) announced tonight that The Great One(TM) will return home to be The World's Most Electrifying Host of WrestleMania on Sunday, April 3rd at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

As The World's Most Electrifying Host of WrestleMania XXVII, The Rock will lay the SmackDown(R) on all of the pomp and festivities that makes WrestleMania the world's greatest, annual pop culture extravaganza.

"I'm absolutely thrilled and fired up to be the host of WrestleMania. My goal was to partner up with Vince McMahon and WWE to create and deliver something globally entertaining and electrifying," said Johnson. "As an actor, entertainer and someone who both loves and has grown up in the sports entertainment business, the opportunity to host 75,000 passionate fans in a live venue, not to mention the millions that will be watching worldwide, is not only thrilling but quite honestly the opportunity of a lifetime. It's going to be one helluva an epic night." In making the monumental announcement of his return to WWE just minutes ago on Monday Night Raw(R), The People's Champion(TM) whipped the crowd into a frenzy and was showered with thunderous applause.

also, it's good to see Vince doing what he does best, which is run the company, not making himself part of the in-ring story.

The last time 20 minutes of Raw was almost this entertaining, Daniel Bryan was choking out a guy by his necktie. Rocky did it with a microphone and a pair of stunna shades. Damn impressive.

No link but my rasslin obsessed friend just said he heard they signed him for a year long deal through next year's WM. Trying to set up where he only did one Raw a month and the PPV's. Leading up to the big finale next year of a Austin return and a epic WM 12 match.
Sounds like the same ole bs rumors to me so take that with a grain of Rex salt.

Think he learned that the hard way when he tried to kill himself off the week before the Benoit double homicide/suicide

Taker v. Rock would be the better storyline for next year's Mania, imo, jmo.

The streak will go to 19-0 this year in Atlanta.....they'll want to make #20 bigger than any of the previous matchups. Taker and Rock haven't faced off at Wrestlemania. Next year would be the time to do it.

It'll obviously go to 19, but if he's still alive next year, I don't know if they'll let the streak hit 20.

That would make for a great swan-song for Taker.

I don't see it JMO tho. If he were to lose, it would have to be to push some over.

I know it's not meant to be believable, but long ago it went past the realm of being believable. At the age of dead+3, it's getting almost as old as him. He loses and rides off on his Harley to bang Michelle McCool. Lucky bastard.

The end was pretty cool last night, trying to hype up a Cena vs rock match, but I thought he said he was done with wrestling full time? Is this just a one shot?

WTH? Did I miss something? I didnt watch last night.(well, to be totally honest I havent watched in 4 or 5 years) It sounds like it was kinda old school.
