That gimmick is as simple as it gets yet the shtick just never gets old.
It should tell the guys working creative for the WWE something that guys who haven't been in the ring regularly in 20 years are more interesting than the guys they are pushing.

No kidding. He was a better heel when he wasn't trying to be a heel.

TNA should've taken the money they threw at Jeff Hardy (and that garbage belt) and threw it at JR instead. It would've improved their show tenfold.

When he listed all those names, its hard to believe the guys who have never had the WWF championship. By the same token, that was back when the IC title really meant something.

Orton is finally starting to get it. The best thing they can do Sunday is have Barrett win clean, then turn this into a three way war.

They need to wipe this Nexus stuff off the map or get rid of everyone except Otunga and maybe Husky to go along with Barrett. I think a John Cena heel turn with a "permanent" spot in the Nexus would be pretty damn interesting, too. I mean, if you are going to make it this evil stable, at least put some people that are worth a damn in it.

Hell, I like your idea of the three way war, but a three headed monster of Barrett, Orton and Cena coming out of Survivor Series would be one hell of an angle.

Now that the election is over, I fully expect to see Vince back on TV in the near future.

My prediction is that Barrett wins, but The Miz cashes in the Money in the Bank that night and ends up champion. Barret, Cena, Orton and Miz rival for a while. This leads up to a Orton/Cena wrestlemania match.

That would be interesting, but will NEVER happen. There is too much money in Cena as a fan favorite for WWE to even think about a heel turn. Wouldn't be good for business.

That's a more probable storyline. Of course there is no way Cena is fired (again, the money/fan favorite thing) and they have been pushing Miz hinting at cashing it in lately. Actually, that sounds more than probable. That's exactly what will happen. Book it!

I'm sure Miz will cash it in, but doubt he wins.

my guess is Barrett wins, Cena then destroys him, Miz tries to win the title, but Cena destroys him too. Cena fights Miz in December's PPV, but a Orton/Cena/Barrett is set up for Royal Rumble, Cena and one of the other two fight at WrestleMania.

That Hulk Hogan heel turn for WCW turned out pretty good for business.

True. But I don't see a Cena heel turn being a good thing. The biggest percent of his fans are young fans that look up to him as a role model type and seeing him turn bad wouldn't be good. I guess though the argument could be made that most of Hogan's fans were young as well. IDK, that's why I don't write the storylines.

Don't forget the x-factor in all of it is R-Truth. His involvement in all this has got to signify something.

I do think Barrett is gonna win, and win "clean" (by clean I mean Cena is not going to raise his hand without him getting a legit pin, even if somebody like Truth causes the pin).

I also wouldn't be surprised to see the return of Triple H at Survivor Series. When he does return, I would prefer to see him as a heel. Maybe help Barrett defeat Orton, setting up Cena/Barrett and Triple H/Orton feud.

I figured when Triple H came back he would fued with Sheamus, since the storyline was that he was the one who put Triple H out of action and has gloated about doing so.
