I think the watering down of the belts has more to do with lack of talent and creativity, than it has to do with splitting the brands.

Sure there is a lack of talent, but when you are lacking, you shouldn't split up the limited talent you have.
I just see no point in the brand splits at this point.

Just when you thought Bob Barker couldn't be topped...

"Kofi Johnson"

Damn, if you're going to host the show, at least know how to pronounce the rassler's names correctly.

Wonder who will be hosting next week? Phil Helmuth? Wait...that would have potential.

Wonder who will be hosting next week?

Kobayashi.

They're going to work an angle where Big Show challenges him to a hot dog eating contest. If Kobayashi wins, Big Show loses his title shot against Taker.....if Big Show wins, he gets Kobayashi's mustard yellow belt.

Wrong. The guest hosts next week will be Kip Winger and Jose Canseco. They are going to try each week to find people more irrelevent than the week before.

The next host might be more irrelevant, but there's no way possible they could look like bigger dorks than two wormy looking guys in fire suits.

I continue to be amazed. Jim Cornette can't keep a job in wrestling, but the idiots writing this have work.

At least now Jeff Gordon can say his performance at "Wrigley Stadium" is no longer the most embarrassing appearance for a NASCAR driver.

Why don't they just take the absurdity all the way and bring in Charles Nelson Reilly and Betty White for a Hollywood Square themed show next week.

Last Friday was the 26th anniversary of the legendary Last Battle Of Atlanta between Buzz Sawyer and Tommy Rich. The Mad Dog has to be turning over in his grave at this crap.

I miss the Buzz Sawyer/Tommy Rich/Roddy Piper style. Their finishing move was essentially beating the hell out of people. The wrestling wasn't artful, but they could tell a story.

Exactly. Those guys, along with the other stars of that era, were the reason people actually bought tickets. If you were in the arena, they bled, sweated, and paid the price to give you your money's worth. Now, house shows are just two hour commercials for the next PPV. How I wish I could resurrect the Mad Dog and stick the Miz inside a steel cage with him.

Buzz Sawyer and Eddie Gilbert are the two most underrated performers in wrestling history.

Steve Austin's whole persona was essentially two parts Arn Anderson, one part Buzz Sawyer.
