I read it had something to do with his physical. Did he actually choose TNA first?
I've heard various stories on that. Most internet types seem to think the stuff about the physical was the WWE doing damage control after they failed to sign him.

Hogan wins belt
Sting goes to the rafters
Hogan holds the belt for life
Loses on some random Impact taping to only win it back a week later at the PPV

I could see that. Vince would never admit someone chose not to sign with WWE.

The amazing thing to me is that Jarrett had a front row seat for the destruction of WCW. It amazes me that he would think those two idiots would do anything but wreck TNA.

What's the deal with Jarrett anyways? I haven't heard much since that whole Karen Angle fiasco.

I think he wants to go into the front office permanently, but can't bring himself to stay out of the ring.

Have you heard anything about Ken Anderson? I read he was in the NWE, never heard of it. I was really hoping TNA would sign him up.

Actually, this may save Vince. You have to remember that when Bischoff was running WCW he handed McMahon Austin and Triple HHH. Now, the gifts will probably be Styles, Daniels, BMI, MCM, and Samoa Joe.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit.

I've got a feeling this move is going to ruin the best collection of tag teams we've seen on one roster in more than a decade.

I think MCM could be huge in WWE. Vince would probably split BMI in order to push Robert Roode into singles competition.

Styles has always been a little weak on the mic, but that hasn't stopped Miz, the Hardy's, Batista, etc. from getting major pushes in Connecticut.

On the bright side I would love to see the New Age Outlaws return to WWE and stump break Legacy!

As odd as it may seem I would have to put Regal in the mix.

If I had to build a new company, and could take a handful of guys from WWE, HHH and Teddy Jr. would be my top 2 picks.

I like Morrison, but I like Christian better (though I haven't watched an episode of ECW in more than a year.)

I'd be ok if I never saw Regal wrestle another match.

Regal is a good bridge from old school to new.His in ring ability to sell and put guys over is very rare in this era. His ability to draw heat is his best asset and he could be the guy that could thrive in the GM's seat if they let him he play things down the middle or just simply hated everyone.

Oh, no doubt about it...he was born 100% heel. He'd probably not be too bad in a GM kind of role.

I've just never seen him as anything more than a low-to-mid card guy as a wrestler.

The last time they tried it they buried him with Vince's usual stupid stuff. IMO no one in that role should have in ring aspirations or title hopes. Regal is a grappler type which doesn't sell but the gimmick of him being a brawler from Blackpool isn't to far off the mark from what I understand he is a fairly mean sob.

I haven't seen an episode of ECW in a long time....do they still have Regal wearing an adult onesie?

In keeping with what appears to be the new theory at TNA, here are some suggested hires: Harley Race, Nick Bockwinkel, Stan Hansen, Manny Fernandez, Pez Whatley, Bill Dundee, Paul Roma, Hercules Hernandez, Ricky Morton, and Kendall Windham.

Regal has long been known as one of the guys in the lockerroom you don't mess with. Even Kev and Scott avoided messing with him.

Isn't Hercules dead?

We may not see Power & Glory added to the TNA tag division...but, I'm sure Hogan could find a way to pair Roma up with another fossil, and drop the IWGP straps on 'em.
