What then? The Vince thing? Have you been watching? Vince was supposed to have his powers stripped a while back and HHH put in charge. It would be nice if there was a little continuity, but the writers seem to be idiots.

Lol I forgot about that, disregard my last sentence in my last post. That is a good point.

I'm tired of seeing Cena get shots, true, but he's gonna get his anyways as soon as him arm heals up. And he's going to keep getting them til he retires. We're stuck with him unfortunately. Not sure about the Punk hate seems to be spreading tho. He's the best in WWE now (aside from maybe Bryan), and miles ahead of the Ryback/Mason Ryan types. If anything, I think Sheamus is way more deserving of the hate than Punk. "Fella, I'm just so fortunate to be here, serving as champion to these great WWE fans."

Vince never had his power stripped. That was just part of the storyline they used as a way to give HHH more responsibilities. Vince is and has always been the chairman but he is deligating more now then he used to.

And I like the Ryback match. Everyone knows he won't get the title but will be a nice change of pace. I thinkg Cena's arm must not be a full go though or it would have been him.

I was referring to them ignoring their own storylines. There has never been angle where they've said, "Ok, Vince has got his powers back from HHH." They're pretty braindead when it comes to continuity.

I'm actually fine with the match, just as a change of pace. Hell, even R-Truth got a WWE title shot once upon a time. And John Morrison. As long as Ryback doesn't actually get the title. That's what worries me, given Vince's hardon for the freaks. They're going to either have to give the belt to Ryback, or end his streak, both of which are bad ideas (from a company perspective; personally I'd love to see Goldberg go down).

Punk will keep the belt until Royal Rumble when he faces Rock. I'm sure they'll belt Rock for a couple of months and then he will leave and make his once or twice a year appearance after that.

One possibility is to have Lesnar interfere in the match at HIAC, since he is a Heyman guy too. Not sure if that would result in a DQ, but if he went to enough extremes it probably would. Would set up Brock vs Ryback at some point.

I don't think Brock will be facing anyone not names HHH. :)

After seeing the interveiw with Punk and Stone Cold I would love to see something with Austin helping him keep the belt then stunner and walk out with the belt. Wishfull thinking I know.

Gotcha. My bad didn't get that.

I agree with all this 100%

Because the football forum is gone full blown retard I plan to keep this thread hopping! :)
Who was your favorite wrestler that wasn't a main eventer?

for some reason, the Death Valley Driver was one of my fav moves. And my fav line ever from wrestling was when The Rock said he was gonna knock Saturn's eye straight lol

That is the name of it. I couldn't think of his finisher. Oh yeah I forgot all about him in the WWE.

Difficult to say. Depends on the criteria for a main eventer. Ricky Steamboat comes to mind, tho he's been in main events before (and was NWA champion a couple of times). Owen Hart was another guy who was really underrated. And I've always been a fan of Val Venis. Guy had some funny one-liners in Knoxville house shows.

Tho they could be considered main eventers, I still think its atrocious that guys like Ted DiBiase, Roddy Piper, and Mr. Perfect never got WWE title reigns.

Steamboat has to be in the main event category for all those matches with Ric Flair.
