WWE star Tyson Kidd could be sidelined several months due to neck injury
According to a June 4 report from Wrestle Zone, WWE star Tyson Kidd could be sidelined several months due to a neck injury he suffered during a recent match with Samoa Joe. Kidd, 34, was scheduled to appear next month at the WWE's house show in Tokyo, Japan, but its now questionable that he'll compete at the event.

Kidd was wrestling Samoa Joe during a dark match on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, and he needed to be treated by medical staffers after the match. Why have WWE officials been so quiet about his injury? Apparently the WWE has a new policy about keeping injuries out of the media spotlight.
Despite the new policy, word has leaked that Kidd's injury was a bit more serious than it appeared at first glance. There have been whispers that Kidd suffered some kind of neck or spinal injury during his match, and that he'll be out of action for the foreseeable future.
That said, it's unlikely he'll compete in the tag team match on tap for the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. This ordeal comes at the worst possible time for Kidd, as his tag team with Cesaro was just starting to catch on with WWE Universe.
Kidd and Cesaro were in the mix for a title shot against The New Day either at Money in the Bank or Battleground, but now those plans are on hold. When Kidd returns, he'll have to work his way back into title contention.
His injury takes a lot of momentum away from his tag team's title hopes. Fortunately, Kidd is expected to make a full recovery eventually. There's no reason to believe this injury is career-threatening
