As for MITB. If the rumor really did die out and isn't happening, I think Reigns wins.

I still wouldn't be surprised if the rumor happens though.

Here's the reason why I don't think he will make a surprise appearance at the PPV. WWE knows that when Lesnar is scheduled to be at a show, the arena sells out immediately. That's why I think he'll come back on a date that is announced.

Apparently Lesnar is scheduled for the live event in Tokyo next month and it will air live on the network at 6:30 AM July 4. Sorry I don't have a link for this

Here are my predictions for MITB:

Pre-Show Match
King Barrett vs. R-Truth

Winner: King Barrett. If he loses to R-Truth again, then it's safe to say that Barrett has been completely buried. So much for the KOTR title.

WWE Tag Team Title Match
New Day (c) vs. The Prime Time Players

Winner: New Day. I just can't see them losing the belts yet with the amount of heat they're getting. These 2 teams will likely have a rematch at Battleground.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Ziggler vs. Neville vs. Reigns vs. Orton vs. Kingston vs. Sheamus vs. Kane

Winner: Reigns. I've thought about this one a lot, and while it seems too obvious, I can't make a strong case for any of the other choices. Neville and Kofi will provide great spots.

Intercontinental Title Match
Ryback (c) vs. Big Show

Winner: Ryback. No brainer here. There's absolutely no legitimate reason for Big Slow to win. I'm hoping for a decent match, but my expectations are low on this one.

NXT Champion Kevin Owens vs. US Champion John Cena

Winner: Owens. While Cena is the safe bet to even the feud, I'll go with the risky pick. Should be a great match.

WWE Bathroom Break Match
Nikki Bella (c) vs. Paige

Winner: Nikki. :snoring:

WWE World Heavyweight Title Match
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Dean Ambrose

Winner: Rollins. I think he'll retain until Summerslam.

Odds of the MITB briefcase winner cashing in on the same night: 0%

I have it all going the same way, but now that Owens has won legitimately, I think he wins this one dirty so that Cena still doesn't respect him.
Also I could theoretically see Ambrose winning and Reigns coming down to the ring to celebrate with his friend, then while all the confetti is coming down with Ambrose celebrating at the front by the ropes, Reigns runs up and hits him with the punch and cashes in.

Attendance was better than expected.

The show was about what you would think for a promotion as new as GFW. Some goofy booking but they have some decent pieces. They did a good job interacting with fans.

I was a huge fan of their Tongan chick. Name escapes me at the moment.

Just noticed Scott Steiner is there. Is the Steiner still reclining? Or did it break over time and now it just sits upright?

1. I'm with you on Owens. He'll probably do a low blow and win.

2. I could maybe see that happen, but I think that WWE really wants to keep Reigns a baby face and I think it would be a mistake to turn him heel right now.

Vol knight: I'm calling Paige with the win and Cena over Owens. I think Orton might win the MITB and they slow roll that story while setting up Reigns vs Rollins now.

1. I hope you're right about Paige. I'd like to see her hold the belt and have NXT women come up to the main roster to challenge her.

2. I don't blame you for picking Cena. Odds are that he'll likely win. I'd love to see Owens get the win again.

I could see Neville or Kingston winning it then Brock coming out and destroying them and taking the briefcase. And then for storyline purposes the wwe saying Brock is the rightful owner since he walked out the ppv with it.

I'm hoping they hold Sheamus til he gets back for his IC push. I'm still working under the assumption that Sheamus is going to miss time for TMNT. But he hasn't yet so perhaps I'm wrong in said assumption. Sheamus as MITB would be as boring as possible. However, it would signal a title change soon. Who wants a heel trying to cash in on a heel?

Also I hope it was understood that Reigns is the favorite to win, but since it does seem way too logical, I'm offering up Orton as a mere alternative. I can't come up with any real good storylines for anyone but Reigns so Reigns probably won't win.

There's a couple different things they could do with Reigns holding the case.

1. If they decide to keep him as a face, he'll probably cash in at Summerslam to make the main event a triple threat.

2. If they want to turn him into a heel (which I don't agree with at this time), he'll do what Crusse suggested.

It all depends on BROOOCCCCKKK LEEESSSSNNNNAAARRRR. Having Reigns stalk Rollins would be fun. What do you do with Brock though? Only thing more boring than a part time champion is a part time Brock with no real storyline.

Having Wyatt unload the Lesnar demons would be epic.
