WWE Thread II

I've got to apologize to this thread. A while back I lightheartedly poked fun at folks who didn't get the network. I was wrong. It's so bad these days, and I cancelled months ago. So...My bad lol.

Hopefully they at least put Bryan in Mania main event.

Btw, I've been kind of out of the whole genre recently. Is their anything (outside of WWE) going on right now that actually is good?

NXT is still WWE but it is amazing and worth keeping the Network for.

Lucha Underground is actually a really fun show to watch if you can find it on TV.

I've never watched ROH on TV but I went to a taping in Nashville about a month and a half ago and it was a great time. No women's matches, no monologue promos like you'd get with the Authority in WWE taking up 25 minutes of a show.

And I've never watched NJPW but I've always heard good things.

Anybody watch the Countdown on WWEN of the top 10 IC champs of all time?

What a crock. Supposedly its voted on by fans, and if so, then, man, fans are idiots. Cody Rhodes? Chris Jericho #1? Where are Piper and Steamboat?

Most of the fans who voted probably don't even know who Piper and Steamboat are.

Chris Jericho should be number 1. It's pretty much his title. Lol. But Steamboat and Piper deserved spots.

Dear God, not the Honky Tonky Man, please, no.

I don't care how many title wins he had or how long he held them, he was absolute trash in the ring.

It's caparable with Cena being on the verge of surpassing Ric Flair. I don't care what the total numbers are, he will never be the Pro Wrestling champion that Flair was, or even someone with lesser total titles, like Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, or Steve Austin. Same applies with THTM and the IC Title.

the only reason Jericho didn't have it more often is because of all the time he spent not Wrestling in the WWE...I don't think he's a bad pick for #1

Below is the final match card for Fast Lane. What's everyone's picks for tonight?

Face-to-Face
Triple H and Sting

Winner Faces Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31
Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns

Seth Rollins & Big Show & Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler & Erick Rowan & Ryback

United States Championship
John Cena vs. Rusev (c)

Intercontinental Championship
Dean Ambrose vs. Bad News Barrett (c)

WWE Divs Championship
Nikki Bella (c) vs. Paige

WWE Tag Team Championship
The Usos (c) vs. Tyson Kidd & Cesaro

Goldust vs. Stardust

outside of the 6 man tag match, it's a pretty good card. I really wish they'd push Kane and Show out the door and bring up some heels from NXT for Rollins to work with. It'd make more sense for them to be lackeys as new guys and they could provide actual entertainment in the ring and on the mic. Anyways, predictions:

Sting and Trips come to the fight with their weapons of choice. Baseball bat and sledgehammer respectively. I think HHH needs to gain the momentum here, but I really have no idea how this match plays out at WM, so I don't really know what happens here.

Stardust beats Goldust
Paige wins the title
BNB cheats a win
Rusev wins but it surely isn't clean
Reigns over Bryan (Hoping for a heel turn here)
Usos retain
I don't really care about the 6 man tag team match. They seem to be making Rollins look weak since the last PPV, so perhaps it's a win for the good guys.

Anyone going tonight? I'm pumped!

My predictions:
Stardust
Usos
Authority
Bella
Ambrose
Cena by DQ
Reigns (Heel turn hopefully)

I'll go with the authority winning the 6 man tag.

Uso's retain

Paige wins back the belt

Ambrose wins IC

I think Goldust wins, and then Stardust wins at Wrestlemania (if they have a match). Otherwise Stardust wins tonight.

HHH probably looks strong and possibly takes out Sting.

Cena wins by count out or DQ and Rusev retains.

Bryan wins dirty or with interference, or Brock returns and takes out both men, setting up a triple threat.

And Bray cuts an in ring promo and Taker responds either tonight or tomorrow night.

Though about it but would have been going by myself if I did so I'll be watching with the wife at home after church tonight.

Hopefully in a couple years when my sons older I'll be taking him to some events.

Predictions:

Upset pick: Cesaro/Kidd win the tag team titles.
Paige wins the Divas title
BNB Retains
Stardust wins
No idea what happens in the Sting/HHH face to face.
Bryan/Reigns: Reigns wins and turns heel or no contest.

P.S. I almost forgot.

6 man tag team match: From out of nowhere.....
Rusev wins dirty
