I love Orton. I still argue he's the best one in the ring. He can sell a beat down, he can give a beat down. And all points in between. He's got the signature (re: Vintage Orton) moves, but he probably has more overall moves than anyone. Bryan has the submissions, but I'm talking about specific action moves. Each time I read that he's still not back, it hurts a little. Also (and reason to hope for Reigns) Orton has drastically improved on the mic since Evolution. He's a heel though. Would like to see the blurred lines someone brought up. He can be a face destroying the Authority with heel moves. That would probably get me watching again.

I was really happy seeing that. Hopefully, it will continue.

I love me some DB, but as Ben said, I hope Reigns goes over.

Roman's best work is quiet but threatening badass. He's not a ten minute promo. Roman's best quality (and this seems silly and backhanded but it really is a compliment) is his facial expressions. He's really good at telling the story with his expressions not words. That is what they should push.

As for the Trips interview, there was more BS than the Vince interview, but the part about Chyna was pathetic. And everyone knew it. It was just flat out awkward.

I think there was more truth to Trips' Punk story, but it wasn't the whole truth. My favorite segment was the word association. HHH clearly really loves his profession, but I think he sometimes has a jaded view. Also, we've talked about before, but the third hour probably is ruining the product simply because it's too long of a show. That said, they fail at creating enough interest in the mid card stories that could carry the extra hour, so I still blame creative. Serious question, does anyone really watch all three hours straight? When I watch, I'm always flipping back and forth.

I came up with the best/worst idea .

So let's say Bray beats Taker in a career threatening match at WM. With the streak dead, we need something to replace that as an annual match at WM. We can't have a new streak with Bray. He's lost at WM and would be corny. With WWE having a lot of part timers and older guys, what if that was a new gimmick at WM? Bray faces guys with their careers on the line?

Let's say Taker this year. Maybe Kane next year. Maybe Jericho one year. Big Show one year. The Rock, Big Show, HHH, Batista, etc.

Bray comes out and picks on a new guy. Cuts promos on their "faults" and then challenge them. Maybe he can get a couple new family members and cheat to get some heel heat.

I have no clue if this would work but how awesome would it be 8-10 years when someone finally wins for that payoff?

so his schtick would be...killing legends?

Kind of like Orton's earlier gimmick yes, but more official. Orton really didn't retire anyone I don't believe. He just punted them. Which was a good heel schtick. But you can actually have a true legend killer gimmick. And that doesn't have to be the only thing about the match. Bray can use his promo skills and use it against his opponents. Kind of like what he did with Jericho and Bray calling him a false savior.

Agree 100%. :hi:

Depends on whose on to be honest. If I got Adam Rose, Santino, etc it's on to whatever else.

I like your thinking. I wasn't really into Bray when i first saw him, but I've started to enjoy watching him now.

I used to watch all 3 hours, but now I only watch the 1st and 3rd hour.

This is what I'm talking about. I'll probably watch Santino. He was the perfect comedian wrestler imo. The wrestler portraying Adam Rose has so much untapped potential, so I give him a chance before changing. The tag teams are awful imo and I always change the channel. I've heard bad things about the Ascension gimmick, but I've only seen them at the Rumble. Before they introduced the 30 minute opening promo, I always watched the first match. It is typically the best match of the night. But the way too long intros lost my interest and I find something else. It's crazy weird though, even not watching at all since the Authority return save last week, I haven't missed much by reading recaps.

I work a midnight shift on Monday nights so watch RAW on Tuesday afternoons. Can't imgagine watching live for 3 straight hours though.

I don't know how good the match will be but I'm definately looking forward to Taker/Wyatt.

Dolph/Bray and Seth/Bryan were both really good matches.

The ascension are a complete joke. The Uso's and Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are the only entertaining tag teams IMO. I watch the intro of the first hour and the last hour and pretty much keep up with what is going n.

I do, but I DVR it then watch it after everyone else goes to bed. I can then ff through the commercials and any boring matches like New Day or the Uso's.

I love the Stardust character, i hope they don't ruin it with the split.

Question:

Do you guys think WWE is in trouble when Vince retires / dies?

Or

Do you think WWE will be better off with Triple H / Stephanie running the show?

Which one and why? Just curious.

I think it'll be better off, not to say that i don't enjoy the product now. HHH is just more in touch with the current day and his experience running NXT will be great for him/us.

Me either. The whole Golddust, Stardust, etc gimmick is way worn out to me.

Golddust will never change. One of the few from a different era still left (Him and Kane are the only ones who still wrestle weekly, and he did so long before Kane), and him trying to latch onto more time with something new would demean the great job he has done as that character for so long.

Now, if we get a push for Cody changing back, I think it would work well. Cody as he was was a damn good wrestler.

I used to be a big Dustin fan in WCW.

I get that, and he never should change. I was just saying that when he retires I would prefer for that gimmick to go out the door with him.

I'm a big fan of the stardust character and Cody plays it great. I think Cody has a better chance of getting out of the mid card being stardust than he does being Cody Rhodes.

Now if I could play booker for a moment.........I would book stardust as a complete psychopath. Where there's no rhyme or reason to why he does the things he does. Make him a true tweener that you never know if he going to attack a heel or a face.
