It's ludicrous. She's a terrible on air persona, but she's hellbent on doing the Vince thing. It blows my mind how they don't get that nobody wants to see poorly recycled WWE style shows.

So it looks like everyone picked one of the worst Impact episodes in weeks to finally watch it again! :search:

I watched the highlights of Wrestlemania 30 the other weekend.

Can you smell what the Rock is cookin? Cause Stone Cold said so. Whatch'ya gonna do brother?

Probably the worst scene is wrestling history. It was not only stupid but since when is Stone Cold in the same league as Hulk Hogan and The Rock? For the record, I hate The Rock as a wrestler. I support him as an actor. I was always a DX/Triple H guy. Hated the Nation of Domination. Triple H > Stone Cold as far as quality personas go imo. Nobody beats Hogan(even though I was a Warrior guy myself) but Stone Cold as 3rd greatest? Ha. No.

On the bright side... American Badass Undertaker lost to useless Brock... I haven't watched wrestling in probably 10+ years and garbage Lesanar ends Takers streak? Yuck. They hired Freddie Prinze Jr. to write for them. Wtf...

As for John Cena, he is the worst character since Stone Cold Steve Austin. WWE is not so good these days. They brought it on themselves after WCW and ECW folded. I don't remember if they bought both. I know they bought ECW. Terrible move removing competition. Just ask EA when it comes to sports games. It allowed them to produce trash. Rant over.

Steve Austin got as over as any wrestler in the history of the business and 10 years later could walk into any arena tonight and make the crowd lose its mind. Yes.... He's one of the top 3-5 of all time.

So you don't like Stone Cold Steve Austin. But to act like his footprint isn't as big as Hogan or the Rock is absurd. He even outshines DX as the poster boy for the Attitude Era, the biggest era in wrestling history.

Also, it was Taker's call to lose to Brock. And he's the Dead Man. Prinze hasn't been with the company for over five years.

So now you're trolling the WWE thread too?

What are you talking about?

I saw Hogan/Flair for the WCW world title in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I haven't had internet since changing locations and watched the Wrestlemania highlights. I thought it was garbage.

Trolling... okay. Sorry for having used to been a huge fan and watching highlights of my childhood. I won't form an opinion again, newly acquired Cavs fan.

Also, I disagree that Stone Cold was that impressive. He was far from athletic, bald and drinks. Wasn't my style. I didn't even like Mick Foley/Mankind but he is actually impressive at least. He let people throw him on tacks, into barbed wire and 20 feet to the floor. Probably because he came from Japan and ECW. WWF went down the gutter the second Vince and Shane McMahon started getting into the ring. They obviously realized this mistake or Vince wouldn't be commentating as an owner. Actually, all they did was copy WCW and Eric Bishop. NWO takes on the owner of WCW and Vince steroids up to rival it.

I'm not trying to start a fight here... I've long loved the WW(E)F. I just thought wrestlemania 30 highlights were terrible. They've destroyed WWF like Michael Bay has destroyed Transformers and TMNT. It happens.

So Vince's interactions and adventures inside the ropes led to the most successful period in professional wrestling history, yet, according to you, it put WWF (E) in the gutter. Brilliant. Trolls are going to troll.

Hulk Hogan
Ultimate Warrior
The Rock
Triple H
Mankind/Mick Foley
Undertaker
Rick Flair
Macho Man
DX(group)
NWO(group)

I could go on. They'd all get as many cheers as Stone Cold imo. I think Triple H is a bigger star than Stone Cold. That's a personal opinion. John Cena could draw cheers anywhere as well. I've never actually watched a match since he's joined though. It might just be me because I was always a DX/Triple H/Rockers guy. I liked Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Billy Gunn. I know Stone Cold was huge and I'm insanely bias. Is he actually bigger than Undertaker or Mick Foley though? Idk about that. It's debatable.

Don't ever compare Stone Cold to John Cena.

The thing about that is despite current perception of him, Cena is probably one of the all time greats too. He's had a 10+ year run of being the face of the company where he's been over, winning championships and for the most part has been durable. Can't ask for much more than that.

It's really not that debatable. Taker might be remotely in the same zip code just due to his longevity. Foley was always an attraction, but never really a headliner that carried the company.

Your hatred for Austin has created a terrible bit of ignorant bias in you. In 20 years, 30 year olds will be marking out hard for Cena. As will Ben

How am I trolling?

I haven't watched wrestling for a long time and I decided to watch the highlights on NBC or ABC, whatever it was. I gave my opinion on it and I'm trolling... do you know what trolling is?

Here's trolling... "Only hillbillies like Stone Cold, wrestling is fake and Hogan is a washed up geezer. Why does anyone watch this fake garbage?"

I'm not trolling. I gave my take on what I watched and something that was a huge part of my life growing up. Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, Hart Foundation, The Rockers, Rick Rude, Brutus The Barber Beef Cake, Legion of Doom, Demoltion, Bushwackers and so on.

Anyways... guess my pass has expired. I gave my opinion on something and it's trolling because I didn't like it. Learned my lesson. I'll go watch reruns of Sabu, Lance Storm, RVD, Justin Credible, Tommy Dreamer etc. before they sold out.

In saying that... you realize that Justin Beiber and Miley Cyrus are two of the most famous people in the world, right?

There are a lot of simpletons in the world. Unless you're ready to back the popularity of that garbage, your point is moot.

Trash is trash and popularity doesn't make it less trash. It just means a lot of people are stupid and like trash. Look at Kim Kardashian's app. Made like 100 million... does that make it good?

No, saying you don't like Austin and how Vince got so deeply involved in the storylines is an opinion. Saying Vince's involvement sent WWE into the gutter is exactly what you just defined trolling as. Then pretending like Austin wasn't the centerpiece of the Attitude Era only increases your troll job. What really hurts your case is how major these were in creating wrestling's biggest successful period EVER.
