WWE Thread II

I remember when a lot of people in here talked about how bad WM was gonna be.

I think the buildup was pretty bad. Basically I see it this way: the buildup was used to provide footage for the promo videos (which actually made it exciting; today/tonight while watching those videos was the first time I got excited for WM), and the event itself was actually really good.

You the man

Doubt it. I think we'll see Rollins and Reigns renew their feud that they didn't finish last year.

Don't forget Ambrose - the ladder match spot kept him from costing Rollins when he cashed in. I could see all three of them in a program since Bork is only part time.

Nice job by WWE storytelling there also.

So here's the question. Brock will obviously get a rematch. Does he get the title back?

Also shout out to Roman. I thought he had a hell of a performance tonight.

This. Lesnar will probably disappear until the summer and get a title rematch at Summerslam. Tomorrow night renews the Reigns and Rollins feud which will last throughout the summer I hope. This could be the beginning of a great 2015 for WWE.

I think Reigns earned the respect of a lot of the IWC tonight. Still not over with the fans but I don't think you'll hear as many boos. Reigns put on a great performance. They really saved his career by not putting the belt on him tonight. Rollins is ready. Roman is not.

I hated that his move-set was so limited, but still possibly his best performance. Best possible outcome for him. He looks strong, elevates fans' opinions of him all without going over.

Of course, for an interim feud, they could finish the HHH/Lesnar feud from a couple years ago that never really went anywhere, IIRC. Lesnar "broke" HHH's arm, and then HHH just let bygones be bygones?

Eh, I think they'll focus Haitch's run-in with Rock. I could see putting Lesnar and Rusev in a program.

If not is he more of a regular on WWE tv than when he was champ? I don't know what his appearance numbers look like.

Rumor is that he signed a 3 year/$9mill deal. Still has limited dates. He's not a fan of the traveling. So don't expect him to be any more present on TV or PPVs than he already was. He's probably gonna disappear for a while after tomorrow night.

I still see potential for Roman to be a great badass face/heel. As long as creative avoids turning him into Cena, I think he'll be fine. As a Reigns fan, I'd personally like to see him win the belt at WM32. I think he'll be ready by then.

I'll give Reigns credit for tonight. He took that (legit) beating like a champ. My problem with him is he's just not ready to be the guy yet, pure and simple.
