Back to the original topic.....

Apparently state lawmakers are pretty ticked about this "inclusive" pronoun nonsense and told UT to get the ship corrected or they will bring down the hammer in January. They dismissed UT's claim that it wasn't approved by people at the top and said that if that was the case then it wouldn't have been on a main page of UT's website.

It's time for them to get rid of Cheek and Martin. Martin is the Berkley grad that has tried to liberalize the University.

This is what our university has been turned into by a leadership more concerned with controlling language than preparing students for life in a world where none of this Orwellian trash will ever be of any real value to them.

It is embarrassing to see my alma mater dragged through this insanity by people who care more for their agenda than they do for the University of Tennessee.

Couldn't find a direct email to the UT president, but did find his executive admin, admin assistant and media relations contacts.

This is just my opinion in this email. Please don't call me names for sending it. I just might be offended.

Also, you can b*tch here all you want. It helps to direct your frustration to the administration. They need blowback over stupid edicts. That means YOU. Get off your duff and be vocal, otherwise you will get overrun.

You have to understand that in order for someone to even think that this is a good idea - they are swimming an isolated gold-fish bowl of political correctness that their peers have enabled them to act on idiocy. It's like a small zit, that the public sees, but there is a tumor beneath.
