Most "Arts and Sciences" faculty. There's a solid 15% of curriculum/faculty that doesn't do any major a lick of good. Waste of millions. Don't see you whining about that.

It doesn't make me uncomfortable at all. I just think it's some really stupid ****.

The professor that takes points away if someone uses certain terms pisses me off. that prof needs to go jazz himself.

While a legitimate issue, what AAs went through is no where near the evil LGBTs have gone through. Resources need to be focused on much more important issues because college kids are having real issues in the work place

No doubt, but it is an issue still. Nobody is water hosing or setting dogs on the LGBT community, but many are heavily discriminated against. Especially in rural areas where racism is still in full force. I agree that this whole pronoun thing is being blown way out of proportion. On both sides.

Edit: I'm not saying only rural areas have racism and homophobia. I'm pretty sure when I visited Boston, Massachusetts, I encountered a whole new breed of racist and homophobic people.

It is this mindset by administrators that allows this garbage. There are at least 50 more just as useless as her. But hey, each dept says, it essentially makes no impact financially, in the grand scheme.

1. It doesn't cheapen the degree. A UT grad with an engineering, architecture, or accounting degree is still going to be in demand right out of college.

Yes because UT has regular lgbtqia lynchings on campus.
