I currently have Time Warner, and it's a pile of dog ****.

I have the option to switch to WOW or AT&T U-Verse. There are several threads on here that describe the problems they have with U-Verse, but I haven't heard a whole lot about WOW. The handful of people I know who have had it, love it.

I love my U-Verse, granted it's only been 5 months since I've had it, but the Internet is screaming and there is a very good channel selection.

other than having to reset my cable box maybe once every two months, my TWC service is fantastic. Superfast internet and every channel I could want.

I've been told Time Warner is hard on the eyes.....your thoughts?

Have Directv for tv and Uverse for Internet. Had Uverse for tv before but switched back to Directv because I liked it better. If you are a sports fan go with Directv. Definitely more options and cheaper than Uverse and cable

Outside of a few older boxes dying on me, uverse has been great. The customer service is prompt and helpful.

Oh I tried to get DirecTV. My soon-to-be brother-in-law works for them and can obviously get me a great deal, but my neighbors tree completely blocks our line-of-site.

I've never heard of it.

I really expected the body of this thread to be something along the lines of "WOW, internet & cable are EXPENSIVE!"

U-verse does cost more, but it has a lot of extra bling, if you will.

Tex, you need to call and tell them your switching because its too expensive. I did it a couple a months ago and they didn't put up a fight got an upgrade for three months and over 50 dollars taken off the bill per month.

haven't missed a game yet and I'm straight. That should answer all your questions

wife is still able to watch HGTV though and that was the clincher

OMG the Real Houswives series is ENTHRALLING!

At least that's what my fiancee says, so it would have to be included if we were to ditch cable.
