The only logical reason not to call the cops after an armed robbery is because you were wanted on charges yourself.

If I thought they had a real gun or looked like a real gun at all, then yes I'd have called the cops about it with anyone

I mean it'd have had to be like an unpainted nerf gun for me not to have called afterwards

You must have heard this a lot lately. As to the question from the OP, I wouldnt hesitate to call the cops if I was in that situation. It really wouldnt matter who it was that was holding me up, I would want to see them punished.

YES! A criminal is a criminal. We do not need these guys on our team. Your attitude is a cruel joke that has enabled many horrible people to ruin the lives of others for centuries. There should be a law to prosecute you for knowingly allowing them to get away with a felony. It is especially dangerous to think that way because you wouldn't have known that they just tried to rob you with a pellet gun. Unfortunately, punishment determined by status happens all the time.

You, by the nature of your post, wouldn't allow someone with an unknown identity to do it, so what makes them better? Absolutely nothing. They had the potential to destroy our team. Why preserve that chance? These guys were brought here and given the opportunity to get a free education, represent the University of Tennessee and play football for the team you love with the intent of playing professionally. They wasted that opportunity and robbed people at gunpoint. The will get what they deserve. I hope.

If Peyton Manning tried to rob me then I'd probably give it a few minutes to wait for Ashton Kutcher to jump out of the bushes with a camera crew. If not, THEN I'd call the cops.

My friend and I were talking about this. He said no, my friend who is all into recruinting news would just read off stats about nuke and his highschool and hometown names haha. I would say hey I know who you re and yoi have a chance at the NFL or I could call the cops and you can say bye to everything and go to jail unless I get ten percent of your nfl money (just a hypothetical thought)

First off, I can't even believe this question was even asked. Second, I can't believe there are people admitting to the world that they would even hesitate to call the police. If you don't call the cops because they play football, then you are doing society a terrible injustice. Next time, they could snatch your grandmother's purse or rape your niece. You protect them because they play football and what do you think you are really accomplishing there? You really want to put these people on that kind of a pedestal, where they are above the law?? Really?? Then you are a damned fool and I sure hope that you do not represent the typical Tennessean. Anyone who says no to calling the cops because they play UT football is a complete f***-up of a human being.
