Purdue had won only 9 games in the last 4 years and Coach Brohm took them bowling in his first year. First year, he played ranked Louisville, Wisconsin, and Northwestern close but had 2 bad road losses to Nebraska by 1 and Rutgers by 2.
His offense was ranked 76th and his defense was ranked 47th. At Western Kentucky, his offenses were prolific in scoring and production, finishing top 5 in both categories all 3 years during his tenure.
Looks pretty decent to me.
