Dumba$$..He will be the best hire we have made since Fulmer. You may wanna do some research before just spouting out stuff. I guarantee you there won't be 5 more years of losing to all 3 of them. Go pull for one of them if you have a problem with it little guy.

Do not use logic, sir. He knows the outcomes of all the next 5 years. He is a wizard...

If we’re getting a coach for 3-4 million, I want Kiffin. No, I don’t approve.

Yes, he’d be better than Jones and miles better than Schiano.

I want an $8 million coach. Minimum. Patterson and Peterson are where you start. Offer them $8 million with total control. If they say no, ask them again. If they say no again, give them $9 million. If they say no again, ask again. If they say no again, give them $10 million and so on.

Are any of our rivals quivering in their boots when they here that Jeff Brohm is gonna be our coach? No. Grow some balls, UT.

But alas, Jimmy Haslam is a cancer and won’t let our boosters do their damn jobs. F*** him.

IMO: Brohm has a higher upside than Gundy.

Brohm is also a higher risk in years 2-5. We've really only seen year 1 w/ him.

Pulling Brohm & staving off any other heads rolling in the AD will be a mild miracle for Currie & Co. after the media debacle.

No, because there is a better coach out there. Don't hate Brohm but it is a business decision and TN isn't making the best decision for the future of their company. Add in the fact that Brohm wants the Notre Dame or Louisville job, we will be doing this again soon as he gets that opportunity

Currie trolling the gullible. He just started the Purdue job. Not all coaches are like Kiffin and bolt.

I said when they fired Jones, my top 3 are:

Matt Campbell
Jeff Brohm
Chad Morris

Somehow they got off chasing rainbows and lollipops and look where they are now with two black eyes and a ass-whoopin by the national media.

Texas, LSU, Florida, USC, even Notre Dame couldn't hire successful Power 5 coaches at their last hire yet our fan base (and administration) thinks the line to come to Knoxville is long and deep with top coaches. Forget it people. You gotta work to find a good coach, develop him and give him the reasons to stay. Look at Jimbo. He's really not thinking of going to A&M as much as he's leaving FSU. I think in the end, he'll regret it but he's doing it out of spite.[/QUOTE

Campbell is also my number 1 - just build the buyout into his contract and go get him -- he will be a rock star in a few years.

Definitely support. Seems like a good man...blue collar. true grasp of high flying offense as opposed to Butch who had no clue but just stuck to his system. He was in initial list anyway. Early on, Florida fans were more on Brohm than others, including Mullen because of his offenses. Think this could help shore up Mays, and could help some of our young QB's and commits. Pay for D coordinator and lets go.

It’s so frustrating because Haslam has us right where he wants the fan base. He trotted out the WORST possible hire and there was an uprising. Now, he gives us a mediocre hire, and we accept it because we were about to get Schiano. Dammit! No, f this bull crap!

Eh. At this point I barely care anymore. I do like his personality, but I would want to know why he wants to come to Tennessee.

Tennessee will give him millions of reasons.............and for him to jump ship after 1 year, and into this mess it will prob be a lot of "millions." or will he just get an extension and a big raise at Purdue?

Because I have seen Brohm's teams up close and personal I will offer this tidbit.

I wanted Gruden. I believe that we could have had Gruden had it not been for Haslam and Currie. With Blackburn or Fulmer in the AD role he would have come. Gruden is the type that wants the perfect situation. With Haslam and Currie it was anything but perfect.

I also understand wanting a coach who has also won a couple of championships in the SEC, ACC, etc., but those two mentioned above prevented that from ever happening.

Brohm is the future version of a Stoops or a Spurrier. He just hasn't had the time in service to prove that to everyone yet. Perhaps we get to watch him become one of the elites while in our possession.

I don't really want to support the hire, because after what happened I don't believe Currie should have been within five miles of this decision. But this guy is good and I have a hunch most of you are going to like him once he gets here.

When guys like Gil Brandt are tweeting Brohm would be a helluva hire and that Schiano saga would quickly be forgotten...that speaks

If nothing else it will make the coeds come out. Chicks dig the long ball right?

The QB's better get their arms in shape. They are going to be throwing the ball...a lot.

BP was at WKU for one year. Brohm was his OC. BP hand picked him. Brohm had MUCH more to do with building WKU into a championship team than BP did.

He's young and intense. That will help him recruit. But you are right. He needs to hire the right people. I'd keep Gillespie for sure.... probably Warren. I might even keep Shoop.

Taggart built wku, not Brohm

The more I look at it, the more I'm starting to really like this hire. The guy is a winner. He runs the Petrino offense without the Petrino baggage. He's young and energetic, and from everything I can gather he's a player's coach.

Is this for sure though? The only one I've seen reporting it as done is Jimmy. I don't want to get all excited for nothing again.
