5 more years of losing to Bama.
5 more years of losing to Georgia.
5 more years of losing to Florida.
Maybe we beat Vandy once in a while.

Woo Hoo!

5 more years of a 3-4 million dollar coach. Such a mosquito d!ck hire.

The ignorance of a lot of UT fans is just as bad as Bammers.

Works for me. He's got potential, which is more than one can say regarding our AD who probably eats crayons for breakfast. Let's get on with it and get this thing done.

Great a coach that lost to Nebraska, Rutgers and Northwestern. I am sure that will keep Saban up at night.

Kiffin burned his bridge with me. Brohm is a winner, and we will not get a top tier this year. A top tier is already winning and has less work than the rebuild of chemistry, morale, unification, whatever you want to call it. The divide and misery we had this past season won't go away in one season, but mid-pack in the East next year, is certainly achievable, (Ga and FL will kill it), and Vandy will once again become the little brother as they should be.

GBO !!!

Frankly, I would be disappointed. For the first time in my life, I am in the position where I could finally look into season tickets. Given how the Schiano mess went down, there are only two coaches I would seriously consider going forward with the season ticket process. Brohm isn't one of them.

While Brohm is an improvement over Butch, I don't think its clear that his motivation to come here is anything but a payday.

Wouldn't be happy, not necessarily upset.

Would support the program but definitely wait and see on this coach, cause I'm not impressed. Ppl are acting like we have no options. We have options, we have time, we have money, facilities, and a decent rooster. Don't let the media hoopla force us into taking someone just to have someone. If you go through a bad breakup or divorce, you don't go offer a ring to the first to come along cause you are hurt. Currie wants to get his name out of the hype right now. So he will pull the trigger on someone quick.
Go for T Martin
or Norvell before this guy.
Norvell is a superior coach.

why???? Serious question.

If Brohm were still at WKU he'd be the hottest up and comer. I don't know what you expect at Purdue year one.

As I recall year one at Bama was nothing to write home about.

He's a bright offensive mind. QB will be immediately remedied. He'll ha e a tougher the recruiting than would a Gundy, but long term he'll do well.
Very respected among those in the know

He was the ONE name Charles Davis dropped as his choice.

Okay, So you're all complaining about his recruiting, but where all over Gundy when we wanted him yesterday? Gundy wins consistently with 2 and 3 star talent now granted that is the BIG 12 and well the SEC is the AAA of the NFL. But who's to say Brohm will not win here and win big? We're kinda running out of choices guys. We all know Currie isn't going to call Lane, Les or Kevin.

A week ago, we were confident we were going to get a top-tier coach. Most of the media thought we would too.

Flash forward a week - the incompetent and corrupt AD completely botches the hire of anyone of any substance, tries to backdoor a "good buddy" hire in Schiano with a load of baggage that would fill a freight train, and then tries to recover by flirting with every mid-tier or below coach available.

What a difference a few days make. Now we will just be happy to "accept" someone that will maybe be as good as Butch or marginally better. Not saying Brohm is bad or I don't want him, but man what could have been possible had we had a non-corrupt AD.

A steady coach, but I don't think any better than a 9 win team with him. Still losing to ALA, Fla and Ga. every year.

He will never beat Florida, Georgia or Alabama. This is a fact. If you can live with these 3 lost games then he's a great choice. But learn to live with all of these lost games each year. Will never win the East, but I guess that what our University wants.
