Sean sparks Tennessee insider said last night even if they suspend Nico, Tennessee would just trot him out there anyway until the investigation is over or they have an actually case

No way Nico is done he is not bound by the NCAA to obtain NIL money. He is a free agent like every other player to make the best deal he can for his name and likeness they have no control over that. If part of his deal he signed it sot take plane rides no matter where he is going hard for them to call that a violation since it is in his contract. The fact NCAA says you can't talk about recruiting is stupid as players will get a lot of deals and they are going to take the best one and it is certainly going to be tied to going to a certain school. So NIco will be playing here until he can go to the NFL.
How could NIL negotiations not talk about a school? By way of example, there are way more opportunities to exploit NIL in major media markets at schools like USC than say Nebraska. Teams with National appeal also offer greater opportunity. This is all part of the deal. By not speaking of the specific school at which the player will be playing is a feeble attempt by the NCAA to control NIL and in contradiction to Alston.

Why wouldn’t they? Tennessee has stated they do not believe they did any wrong and believe the NCAA is in the wrong. You’ve pretty much took the whole state legal and political apparatus and dropped a deuce on their chest with it, why would you comply with any eligibility bs they put in place? I don’t give a damn if we forfeit every game from a season at this point. Michigan just cheated their way to a title; everyone in the country knows that including Harbaugh.

UT told the NCAA to f#ck off in no uncertain terms. They sure as hell aren't going to submit to any sanctions while this case is ongoing

You need a paper bag.
Take 6 to 12 natural breaths, with a paper bag held over your mouth and nose, then remove the bag from your nose and mouth.
You know when the bowl games ended we all wondered what are we going to do until fall brings back college football ? Right here, meaningless post non-stop. It's going to be a long summer.

Who has a clue about any of this ?

It's my gut feeling. We were an easy target with Nico shannagins to get him with all the rumors plus just coming off the last investigation guilt.
it's because the ncaa is trying to put themselves above state legislation. each state is literally amending their state constitutions to create nil laws. there is no clear cut, supremacy clause that states have to obide by. the ncaa is an organization, not a political entity. we aren't backing down and we have every right to put our foot down and fight this. the last investigation was due to actions before nil was official. it'll be okay

Nico done? Not going to happen in a million years.

The worst case is we will have one or two dumb prospects listening to other school's lies that TN is doomed
The most likely case is nothing will happen
The best case is NCAA will be gone for good

I hope and think you are probably correct. However , I can understand peoples concern for the worst case scenario when you see articles like this on Yahoo!

Tennessee v. NCAA: Could the death penalty be involved?

You know they are going to get us. We have a target on our back
Turns out that the target was on the back of a grizzly bear and not a teddy bear. Chancellor Plowman would have never fired off that Hell and Brimstone letter if she was not convinced that UT is in the right. Still trying to figure out what the NCAA's end game is in all of this. They may be arrogant pencil pushing butts, but they are not completely stupid.

Sounds obvious that Nico will start, regardless of what the NCAA does.

The problem is that all of college football will use this for negative recruiting. We
have enough problems in recruiting and this will hurt us. To what extent, no one knows.
Transfer portal helps us perfectly here. The risk is not nearly what it used to be for these players

Click bait article

NCAA has basically said they won’t do death penalty again. They definitely wouldn’t to a major program like TN.

There would be riots in the streets of Tennessee with the governor and congressman getting involved on a national level.

Absolutely ludicrous headline

Graduate of Tennessee 1992

I just believe Nico will leave to save the school
From what? You do know it will be years before all of this is completely resolved don't you? Even in a scorched earth scenario which is highly unlikely, we'll be 3 years down the road before everything is finalized. When has a player ever been ruled ineligible because of an NCAA infraction. Hell, Eric Dickerson and Craig James played their entire careers and SMU got the death penalty.

Follow college football much?

Nico isn’t done, he plays regardless of what happens.
The real question is where will he play?
This whole thing is a VBS trigger like no other.
Is it real?
