"It was just not responding," Bray said. "We knew we were going to be ones to stop ourselves. We just fell apart ... It was the same kind of thing that happened last year."

Sounds like Bray and company were just waiting for the wheels to fall off. With that kind of attitude one mistake puts doute in your mind. Then the second mistake leads to panic. Then....another UT v UF melt down.

The fanbase has the same attitude. Losers on the team. Losers in the stands. I've seen some sorry football and some sorry fans over the last few years at UT.

you cant judge our team, or the fans on 1 loss. we still believe in this team, yeah it was UF but we need to just get ready for next week and pack Neyland and back these boys, and continue to show them support.

I saw over 100k fans bring it yesterday, and paid damn good money to do so, shut the hell up about the fans.

The fact that 100k people continue to show up for that pile of garbage is a testament to a pretty strong fanbase that is loyal.

Dooley and the team quits, the fans are the only ones who haven't.

See, that's where you're wrong. Its not just one loss. Its many losses to many ranked teams in many 2nd half meltdown fashions. So no, its not just one loss.

Can't really blame the fans. Did their part & showed up. Too bad the same can't be said about Bray.

Fans also didn't make Chaney abandon the run either.

I PRAY he goes pro

What NFL team is going to draft a qb whose resume only includes wins over the Buffalo and Georgia St's of the world and has the mental toughness of a 9 year old beauty contestant who just lost her lucky pink bow and folds like a cheap lawn chair when the first sign of adversity strikes?

Good gosh. This was a bad game. We've had plenty of good seasons after playing poorly against Florida.

In my opinion, we froze up. The lights shined too bright and some of our best players took their eye off the ball. You have to give the Gators credit, they capitalized on our untimely mistakes. But we had our chances to win. We will have our chances to win again this season.

Let's just wait and see how it plays out before we form irrational opinions about our team. Who knows, maybe this could be a blessing. This team was getting a lot of love from fans and media before last night. Now, it's gonna be a lot of hate and doubt.

The Derek Dooley era at Tennessee is not over yet. He's not going to get fired today, sorry haters. Let's get behind this team, Lord knows nobody else will. We still have talent to win. It's UT vs the World.

Go Vols
