Women's March

It's just so ridiculous to see these protests and these celebrity rants on twitter and all the ignorance being spouted against trump. The things they are protesting against aren't true! It's absolutely absurd. Read today "trump will eliminate civil rights!" "Our parks will be flooded with oil!" "He's going to ban immigration!" "Education will be dismantled!" "He's racist!" "He hates immigrants!" These people have no idea what they're talking about

He wasn't, and the article was straight forward and presented actual facts. It was a glorified group therapy session/sore loser/anti-trump rally. My wife leans left more so than right and she was pretty much asking what they were protesting and basically suggesting that at no time has she felt threatened that she would lose any sort of rights.

Question is are the women protesters accomplishing anything by inciting hate for President Trump? Is it really that hard for them to instill unity as a nation vs creating more division?

I think they should keep it up. The more they protest and spout nasty things the more they alienate moderate voters. They aren't inviting people into their tent, they are attempting to shame them into it. That rarely works. Women denigrating other women for not voting for Clinton was a microcosm of the party's current problems.

talked with a woman who went, she is very anti-Trump. She said she was there because Trump was going to remove women's rights. I asked her where she got that thought, brought up the "grab them by the cat". I asked if she was ever going to be around Trump, nope. She then continued on about Trump not pushing forward women's rights while men will get everything. Again I asked, based on what. she had nothing but the mean stuff trump said. So I asked her what her candidate would have done differently. silence.

I asked her what rights she thought she was missing out on. she brought up a lot of implied privileges. has a big problem with guys acting like gentlemen, holding the door, carrying stuff, saying ma'am. because it implied we thought they are weaker. I walked over, picked up a concrete block in one hand walked it over to her and said "here, take it" she could barely hold it with two and she dropped it saying it didn't make her weaker than me. I pointed out ma'am was just a sign of respect like sir, and my mother would still Gibbs slap me if I don't say ma'am.

we got into a longer "debate" later. but i will spare too many details. essentially it boiled down to they think they are missing out on this wide world of things we are keeping from them. I asked her if she honestly thought we were smart enough to pull that off. that ended the whole thing.
Ask her if she would be happy if she had the same rights as her Mooslim "sisters".

Anybody see Shia LeBouef (spelling?) video at one of the protest ? He's a complete lunatic.

It's sad really. His brain has been reduced to mush from all that alcohol he drinks. He has very little brain cells left. He can't decide what's real now & what's not. I once was a fan.

Are Volprof and Luther considered to be celebrities?

In some circles. (opening for all the 7th grade humorist)

Celebrities have always been and will always be predominately liberal. There are a variety of reasons why this is true but it will be a good mental exercise for you to ponder it a bit.

I referenced Dumb and Dumber earlier in association with the conservative lunatic fringe. Carl P, come up with something more original. At least Exhibit A got Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.
