Women's March

Hyperbolic to say the least. The article says sports "viewers" skew republican. Travis was talking about sports fans. (small difference) But we're sort of splitting hairs. I would rate his comment as "false". You would rate his comment as correct but hyperbolic.

I think he's correct on his general point that a strategic shift on ESPN's part to target a liberal audience is probably a mistake.

Maybe so, I didn't read the whole article because of the bias he showed in the first few paragraphs.

Of course he's biased, but it's not like the facts he is citing are wrong.

He overplays his hand - that's what people like him do - but in this case he isn't really wrong.

I personally think he is spot-on when he wades into political waters, but I'd rather him not do it even though I agree with him. He's more entertaining when he just talks about sports. He rips ESPN for doing the same thing he does, just on the other side of the political spectrum.

FS1 is trying to be like MSNBC to Fox News, except with the political slants reversed.

Do you really have no clue?

I'm sure that if you asked 50 protesters, you would get a wide variety of responses.

I would say the following list would cover some of them:

Planned Parenthood - - health dept has provided free birth control for decades
Pro Choice --- roe v wade standing strong since 1973's decision
Environmental concerns ---- Obama's record wasn't that great towards Mother Nature
Comments on women --- sticks and stones...
Comments about Muslims --- vetting of future terrorists, do you let just anybody come into your home
Comments about Mexicans --- some illegals actually are criminals, imagine that.. sur13 Gangbanging
Supreme court appointees --- can they name anyone on his list, do they know he has a list
Russian involvement --- unproven... Clinton's election rigging is proven
Education concerns --- education systems sucks due to common core
The overall nasty tone of his campaign --- basket of deplorables
Making fun of the handicapped --- Hillary has ridiculed disabled and homeless
The radical side of his supporters --- see recent riots from the Dems
The alt right concerns -- alt left concerns
Fears of increased racism --- they can thank Obama for the worst racial tensions since the 1960's
Non-inclusion --- see fly over states
Concerns he will only answer to rich white men - but they said middle class rednecks elected him
The way he treated Hillary --- would they stroke out to know they are friends...lol
The lies he seems to be telling -- it was 30k + recipes and yoga moves
Gun laws --- are just fine if they were enforced in a consistent manner...but guns are so big and scary right
An outlet to show their disgust and embarrassment --- other side used the voting booth to show their disgust
To send a message to the world that many in America are outraged --- see above and voting booths
To show their belief that the country is better than this--- Madonna and Ashley Judd are such role models

Yea, it was a we lost and are going to throw a huuuge tantrum about it moment.

Would anyone take a men's march serious if they marched around with penis caps? The thought of that is hilarious.

talked with a woman who went, she is very anti-Trump. She said she was there because Trump was going to remove women's rights. I asked her where she got that thought, brought up the "grab them by the cat". I asked if she was ever going to be around Trump, nope. She then continued on about Trump not pushing forward women's rights while men will get everything. Again I asked, based on what. she had nothing but the mean stuff trump said. So I asked her what her candidate would have done differently. silence.

I asked her what rights she thought she was missing out on. she brought up a lot of implied privileges. has a big problem with guys acting like gentlemen, holding the door, carrying stuff, saying ma'am. because it implied we thought they are weaker. I walked over, picked up a concrete block in one hand walked it over to her and said "here, take it" she could barely hold it with two and she dropped it saying it didn't make her weaker than me. I pointed out ma'am was just a sign of respect like sir, and my mother would still Gibbs slap me if I don't say ma'am.

we got into a longer "debate" later. but i will spare too many details. essentially it boiled down to they think they are missing out on this wide world of things we are keeping from them. I asked her if she honestly thought we were smart enough to pull that off. that ended the whole thing.

They haven't been avoided of rights. That is not what I am upset about. I am upset by many of you depicting women as dumb and fat for standing up for what they beleive. What a wonderful lesson to teach your daughter! "If you beleive in something, you are fat and stupid." And to those pointing out the women that are fat, shame on you for deligitamizing their right to protest because they are overweight. And to those that claim they are stupid, shame on you for assuming that because they don't agree with you, she must be a dumb woman.

Imagine your mothers looking on this forum and reading these posts. What do you think she would say about what you have posted?

Not to mention what my Mom would say about the tons of trash left behind by all of them.

Stupid? Maybe not. Trashy? Most definitely.

Actually I think they were prolife AND liberal.

They told pro lifers not to come. It was an abortion pep rally. They had signs also that said "if you have no uterus, you have no opinion ". I guess even women who had theirs removed for cancer aren't even worthy of them.

Actually they didnt allow pro lifers to sponsor. In some cases they were present. Just more examples of intolerance

So, conservative. Great, thanks. Again, tell me how he was wrong

He wasn't, and the article was straight forward and presented actual facts. It was a glorified group therapy session/sore loser/anti-trump rally. My wife leans left more so than right and she was pretty much asking what they were protesting and basically suggesting that at no time has she felt threatened that she would lose any sort of rights.

There is no better way to object to Trump's lewd and lascivious lockerroom talk than with lewd and lascivious scripted speeches and ***** hats.
