She's not entirely wrong if the summary is correct (I didn't watch the video). The biggest reason we stopped dairy farming is the lack of employees, can't find them.

I get it. I was very liberal when I first joined this board. Voted for Obama in 08. Then things just kept getting weirder with the party in terms of how far they were pushing racial and sexuality based politics.

The first time someone tells you it’s bigotry not be attracted to trans “women”, insults you by calling you a “white cis man”, etc it kinda makes you step back reconsider.

The party in general has been alienating men for a long time.

I like to think the extremists are a small minority of the groups (left and right) I live in Austin which is largely blue, I’m a straight white male and I’m friends with a bunch of people in the LGTBQ community and luckily have had no issues, everyone has been friendly to me. With that being said, I don’t doubt what you said bc the extremists are out there. But it’s important to remember they’re not the average democrat, they are the extremist. It’s just like most republicans aren’t racists, or hate the LGTBQ community, it may just be a small minority of the group. I’m not sure if thats a good analogy or not but thinking this way has allowed me to see the good in people regardless of political allegiance, at the end of the day the government wants to divide us and I refuse to allow that to happen to me.

Personally my biggest issues with the left are thinking for example men should be able to play in women’s sports if they identify as a woman. I mean this is actually extremely anti feminism which the extreme left seems to support, yet supports this in sports. Absurd hypocrisy. The other issue I have is the whole “you live life on easy mode bc you’re white” I really can’t stand this, I grew up poor, I’m doing good now but that’s bc I’ve worked my ass off. Nobody should have their hard work ignored and chalked up to racial reasons whether positive or negative. I have no white guilt, I have no reason to have any, slavery was horrible but I had nothing to do with it. I won’t ignore it happened but why should I be judged for it? It’s just things like this that irk me. I could make a similar list about the right as well with different topics, unfortunately for me people who typically align in the middle somewhere historically have had it the worst.
