Kids aren't taught to think or reason. They're taught to follow. Some school systems are better than others, the school my kids go to do a pretty good job. They don't teach the Socialist crap as bad as other schools do

proper english is racist.
history is racist.
math is racist.
science is racist and bigotist(?)
attendance is racist.
grades are racist.

if it makes you feel better an equal amount of blame lays on the Rs. Bush's no kid left behind was an abysmal failure. covid was the nail in coffin.

there is no discipline in schools today. no we don't need to go back to beating kids in school, but actually holding them accountable would be a nice start.

teachers should be acting like parents. they should only be teaching facts, not telling the kids how to think about something.

standards have been lowered a TON, and more people are failing than ever.

it's obvious that it's not a commercial about selling a cookie but pushing a particular lifestyle on the watcher. No different than school teachers hanging 'pride' flags thereby grooming people's children. The 'father' in the commercial represents bigoted people unless/until they accept such a lifestyle.

I will play. Not sure the term Marxist is accurate but I digress.

Schools actually see the students as “their children” once they enter the doors. They have systematically boxed parents out over the years. Covid exacerbated the problem. Used to parents were welcomed and encouraged to visit, come read, eat lunch with students, etc. Now schools are closed off and unwelcoming to parents. The vibe is they don’t want parents there whether it’s intentional or not it is there.

Some schools are better than others but I see it in private schools as well as public. Some parents I understand are problems but boxing out all parents is not the solution. Not sure if that falls in the category of Marxist but it is definitely an issue I’ve noticed.

The first 6 are just stupid but not Marxist. And they're not part of public school curriculum anywhere I'm aware of.
Yes we need discipline and respect of faculty in schools. Lack of discipline and respect in schools is not at all Marxist.
Teachers can go beyond facts. Some things, like history, are nuanced. Teachers should teach how to gather information and think logically.

Elaborate how hanging a pride flag in a classroom is grooming children I’m too curious. If teaching them to accept everyone regardless of sexual orientation is “grooming” then groom away

Some parents don’t agree that this is ok. That’s why private schools and home schooling is growing.

A pride flag by itself in a classroom promotes just one demographic. It would be good if we could accept people how they are regardless of how they get their jollies, consenting adults and all that, and not promote or suppress one inclination or another.
