Woke

Because the electoral college is based on population and under their interpretation, not citizenship. There has been a population drift as Americans have fled liberal policies (thus liberal states). To keep power, the left has sold out the country by repopulating their strongholds with non-Americans.

There may also be an aspect of increasing chaos to fuel the revolution, per the Marxist playbook.
Yeah, we've had generation ls of kids being trained under a Marxist education system. Is sad because you would think the posters here who are leftists would figure this out or see it

Two teenage boys (one 19) harass and beat the **** out of a lesbian teen. Crazy times

don't get me twisted here, because those two should be charged, and the 16 year old as an adult, and its completely unforgivable.

but this hardly makes anything "crazy times". someone getting beat up because they are seen as different somehow, someway, doesn't make it "crazy times". shows we aren't as advanced as we should be, but this is a tale as old as time. its why following the herd has always been the best survival instincts. when you make yourself stick out, you become a target.

again not saying this is how it should be; nor am I excusing, or minimizing the attack. just pointing out "crazy time" doesn't apply.

I can't ever remember a headline about two boys beating up a girl, but maybe this is normal for you. Never heard of such a thing growing up in TN and Utah.

probably because it wouldn't make a headline. which again just speaks to how jacked up we are.

Did you Google for this headline and couldn't find any and then came up with this reasoning?

IDK man, this is the kind of stuff they love to cover on the local news station. I've never seen it. The Gilbert Goons here in east Valley PHX were all over the news for months because they got in a couple fights with boys. They ended up killing a kid, but they were big news before that.

you argument relies on confirmation bias. to you, the only cases get reported.

I am taking the broader outlook that not every case, or even a majority, are going to get reported unless there is angle to work. and its very difficult, I am not going to dig thru police reports, to prove a negative, ie there were 2v1 instances not reported.

I am sure Fox would run two illegals beating up a third person. While CNN would run two whites beating up a black person. but neither would run the opposite story. So you the reader of which ever news source is not going to know about a case, and thus to you it never happened.

You are the one correcting me to say this is normal. However, you have not supported that at all. You haven't even said, "I've heard of this happening several times." or "this happened at my cousin's school and the kids went to juve" or whatever. If you don't know of instances of this happening, why on earth are you correcting me to say this is not out of the norm?

Again, there was no angle with the Gilbert Goons, other than the local news likes to report heinous stuff. You shouldn't have to go digging through police reports to find this when it happens. You should be able to find it in the news.

I just searched "two phoenix teen boys beat up girl" and the thing that came up was the Gilbert Goons, because it's the closest thing to that happening. I put quotes around "girl" and I tried "assaulted girl" and I got nothing but same-sex assaults in the PHX area.

Some of us may not want to put out into the world someone who is close to us personal matters. especially when it comes to a traumatic experience that left physical and emotional scars. sorry I am not comfortable sharing more than that. winning an argument on the internet isn't that important to me.

congrats you win this one, you are right. it never happens unless it is reported and its crazy to suggest otherwise.

moving on.

Bro, who said "never?" I said "crazy times" and you admonished me for thinking this is an indication of crazy times. It's the ****ing weirdest argument you've probably brought my way. I'm saying it's not normal. I'm not saying it's never happened. If it's so rare that I've never heard of it and we can't readily find stories about it, I think it's OK to say "crazy times." Sorry about your personal experiences, but you brought up this weird conversation, not me.

He's merely saying that someone getting beat up for being different is a story as old as time. Geez, man. Have a decaf.

WNBA Team Holds Moment Of Silence For George Floyd As League's Social Justice Insufferability Continues

The Minnesota Lynx held a moment of silence for George Floyd in the year 2025.

Well, would you look at that, the WNBA has made yet another headline that has absolutely nothing to do with the game of basketball. It's just another day where the league, which has never been more popular, can not get out of its own way.

The latest social justice pandering from the league centers around the Minnesota Lynx and the death of George Floyd. And to be clear, you didn't wake up in the past. It is 2025, and we have a professional sports franchise still bringing attention to Floyd's death in 2020.

The Lynx hosted the Connecticut Sun on Friday, but before the game tipped off, Minnesota forward Napheesa Collier grabbed a microphone at midcourt to address the crowd and say a few words about Floyd two days before the fifth anniversary of his death in Minneapolis.

"George was a father, a brother, and a son, and his life, like every life, held meaning," Collier said. "His death exposed the holes that are still in our justice and criminal institutions today. His five-year anniversary reminds us that we want to continue the fight against criminal, racial, and social injustices. We can not stay silent."

According to posts across social media, a moment of silence was held prior to tipoff as well.

I wonder how the 20 th anniversary will go ?

Say what?

I said, "crazy times" because two teen boys put a teen girl in the hospital, and then ended up in a debate about whether this has been relatively normal for a long time. I don't remember ever hearing about something like this growing up (which is in the post you replied to). You found a pretty closely matching incident from recent history and another incident from recent history that involved 3rd graders, so I still am left wondering was I just sheltered from this kind of thing until recent history.
