Yes, every SEC game will either be televised on CBS, CSS, or on ESPN Gameplan... that includes ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU/ESPNClassic/and ESPN Regional. Not sure if Gameplan is picking up the CSS games, but since it was a contract with ESPN and not with the SEC I would assume they would be too.
The only change from last year is that the regional broadcasts can now be at 12:30 AND in the afternoon.
Yeah Neyland was an oven during the UAB game last year. Off-topic, but related to game times. Has UT vs. Memphis kickoff time been released? I know it's not a big game, but it's my 21st birthday and I've got friends coming up to Knox that were wondering.
Where did you read that some games would be on CSS? Not doubting, just curious.
I don't have a source or a link.....just a rumor.
I heard that Hamilton wanted this one to be his PPV game and that it would start at 2:30.
Money wise, it could be a good move putting it on PPV.....imagine the people that would buy it just to see the Kiffmeister's first game.
They advertise it during some of the classic football games as wellHere's the CSS release. It's for nine overflow football games, not one a week. It also covers a bunch of basketball and other sports.
- SEC: CSS TO AIR LIVE SEC FOOTBALL GAMES AND MORE!
The start time of the "game formerly broadcast by JP/Raycom" was backed up to 12:21pm to help with overlap into the CBS 3:30 game. Personally, I don't think 9 minutes will help that much.
