Remember the freshman foot races? I think one of the Canales broke his arm running into the wall in South end zone. And punted the ball into the seats after scoring a touchdown in some game.
I forgot about that. Didn't they race barefooted from one end zone to the other, have to find their own shoes out of a huge pile, and race back to the other end zone? Am I remembering that right?

Travis Stephens
I've mentioned this before; my dad was the on-field clock operator for Henry County after retiring from officiating. Dad said the greatest game he ever saw a player have was Travis Stevens for Clarksville Northeast literally running wild for 359 yards against the Patriots. I think that game was in 1995. I forgave him for that when he signed with Tennessee. 😉
