Not sure if I’m misunderstanding the question or not, but my favorite player from my very first year watching UT football was Charlie Garner. My favorite player of all-time is Shawn Bryson.

It says "who was your favorite player when you first started watching football?" It seems self explanatory to me. There is no mention of Tennessee players, of all time, or who was your favorite player last week (unless you started watching football last week). It seems like a lot of people misunderstood the original poster's question.
