Without saying your age, who was your favorite player when you first started watching football?

He wasn’t stopped at the goal line very often.
You are right, but he was in that 1966 Gator Bowl. I think the entire game is on youtube. Also, former Giants head coach Tom Coughlin played for Syracuse in that game. He was either a back or a tight end, can't remember.

Heath Freakin’ Shuler. I was like “who in the hell names their kid Heath”. And he’s a QB wearing #21.

Barry Sanders.. I was also really big into video games back then and I thought his Madden commercials were the best thing ever.

Just gonna name a few of my favorites as a kid. Brett favre, Steve young, Terrell davis, Antonio freeman, warrick dunn, Peter warrick, Manning, Marcus Nash, Tory Holt, Woodrow Dantzler, David Terrell , Anthony Thomas etc etc I watched a ton of football as a kid and watched every conference game that was on. Especially when we didn’t have many options. Whatever came on I watched.
