Sorry....but as a Vol fan there’s zero scenario I see were I go to a Memphis website ...much less post anything. Maybe it’s me but I don’t get it.REALLY well because James Wiseman is the reason Memphis landed Precious Achiuwa and Boogie Ellis (who combined for 11 points, 19 rebounds against UT)...Thanks for that, James!
My one last response is that your response about your two players does not bother me. You do have a funny way of spinning everything. Your antagonizing comes in multiple posts in this forum. Your motive is to get a response by saying inflammatory things on an opponent's board. Call it an attention seeker, a hit-n-run artist, or just a deep-seeded need to be closer to the Vols because you're not finding what you need as a Memphis fan.I pointed out that because of Wiseman we landed Achiuwa and Ellis...sorry that antagonizes y'all.
Not saying this is your motive but the ONLY other person I know that does this type of thing is an Arkansas fan. And he is completely nuts and cries when they lose and harasses others when they win. Now granted I’m sure his mojo has been neutered a bit in the last few years. I guess my angle is this... I love the Vols and our success over the years stands on its own merit and doesn’t need me going to a Bama, Georgia, Florida, or Kentucky website to argue their cause which TO ME is utterly ridiculous. Plus I move on after the game and feel zero depression or anxiety after the game. Now I used to live and die by this stuff but an event in my life years ago made me realize how totally insignificant sports really is. I still enjoy being a fan though and travel many miles each year to see the Vols and the St Louis Cardinals.or perhaps I simply pay attention to the teams we play...like UT, Ole Miss, NC State, Oregon, etc? I like talking sports...

You had 4-5 fans posing as Tennessee fans who were obviously Memphis fans posting on here. It's funny how they all disappeared when Wiseman left. At least you were honest upfront.I like talking sports and only posting on a Memphis forum starts to feel like an echo chamber. I enjoy talking to fans from other areas/teams to get outside perspectives, especially when we play that season to provide a point of reference.

Memphis also played on CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, and ABC.
As I noted, not every person subscribes to the SEC Network...just as I imagine you all don't subscribe to the Longhorn or the B1G Network,
Seems that the jury may still be out on this. Can someone please explain why Penny himself was not hit with any penalty?
Effectively, a former booster is now their HC, and said former booster provided impermissible benefits to a recruit. Why has Memphis not been ordered to disassociate themselves with a former booster who broke NCAA rules?
They were only dealing with the immediate question of Wiseman's eligibility at the time. Now comes the phase of dealing with Memphis's decision to play him and also looking at Hardaway's involvement. I don't know what this new panel will do but it usually doesn't go well when the NCAA tells somebody that a player is likely ineligible and the school flips them the double middle finger and plays him anyway. I doubt the penalty would be this serious but it could go as far as a "show cause" suspension for Hardaway. I'm sure the cloud is impacting their recruiting. Opposing coaches will have a field day with this. Can someone please explain why Penny himself was not hit with any penalty?

I understand that, but it was also known from the very beginning who paid to have Wiseman move...Penny. So why not suspend Penny indefinitely as well, like they initially did with Wiseman, until you can investigate? It just makes no sense to me how Penny has escaped any penalty so far. They were only dealing with the immediate question of Wiseman's eligibility at the time. Nobody can figure out the NCAA and how they do things. Personally I think they make it up as they go along. The NCAA usually waits to complete their investigation of coaches and schools before they issue punishment. Wiseman was an immediate eligibility question and that’s why they acted on him. Only people that could have suspended Penny was the U of M and that’s part of the mistake they made. They are fully backing him. They’ve made a huge miscalculation and I’m afraid they are going to pay for it.’I understand that, but it was also known from the very beginning who paid to have Wiseman move...Penny.
