The Kroger in Nashville had long lines but plenty except Milo's sweet tea. Maybe that was temporary. Everyone was in good spirits and laughing at lunch.

When did buying up all the bread and milk become a thing? Lol
I never heard of such until I moved to NKY and even then it seems like only in the last 10-15 years or so. Thought it was a local thing!

Yep, broke out the axe, sledge & wedges and split logs yesterday afternoon. Stacked firewood inside the garage. If freezing rain causes a power outage, I can keep a fire going for a couple of days.

Likely, the community Facebook page here had people complaining last night. There's no milk, bread, or toilet paper anywhere in our county.

Guess people's bread and milk consumption go up significantly during a storm. It's that way here in Oak Ridge, too.
