Skimming through the mess in the RF, that I’ve missed, all I see:
“I’ve got better things to do on Saturday”
“We suck”
“I’m out”
“Is he fired yet”
“I’m out” because that’s a common one
“Which coach is better”
and of course, slice doing his stirring up the masses with “Pruitt will be back”. I laugh every time I see it, because he’s killing two birds with one stone.

It all makes it easy getting through all that crap.

Does anyone know if VOL-TIL-I-DIE is actually volfantilide? If so he needs to go on ignorance as well.

if we couldn't agree on Freeze, I really think Fulmer would be named interim. He'd get a season to show whether or not he has anything left in the tank. Being two good, or three mediocre, seasons away from passing the General on the all-time wins list would probably be all the motivation he needs. He could get Tee or some other protege under his wing and name his own successor in a few years.

Liked because:
(1) It’s a simple solution (no coaching search)
(2) It’s a pragmatic solution (stabilize things)
(3) FF would go nuclear

Reason 3 is actually probably #1, if I’m gonna be honest. 😎

It's not something I arrived at suddenly. I just don't see any other way to part ways with Pruitt sooner rather than later. I figure a lot of the Pruitt support is really just Fulmer support being projected onto his hire. May as well give those folks what they really want...one last charge down the time tunnel and through the split-T. It cannot be any worse and would probably be better.
