If he is hired I will take down my proudly framed diploma and put into storage. Furthermore I will not tour the great Engineering additions instilled since I graduated (1979). Also I will pull my Vol Navy Card

Will you get on board in a Schiano starts winning despite the allegations from McCreary under oath that Schiano knew what was going on with Sandusky?

My answer is NO. I never will support Vol football as long as he is coach and will probably actively root against Tennessee to speed up the eventual exit from that low character tool of a coach. Hate it for the players, but if Currie pulls this stunt, I’m done.

What say you?

This is a sad day. I LOVE UT football.

I can't support this though. I try not to even buy Chinese products because of worker abuse.

I could never support Schiano.

The more I think about it, if Schiano is hired I won't even watch games anymore. I couldn't.

Which makes me sad.

I will 100% be OUT. No excuse or amount of reasoning from the AD could change my mind. He would effectively be telling me (and thousands of others) to GTFO as a fan and supporter of Tennessee football (and athletics in general for that matter).

Well if he is hired i will have the biggest fire filled with everything I can find with ut on it to burn. There was only 1 maybe 2 coaches i will not support in some way.... And he tops the list. This is deplorable in the worst way.

They need to Fire the New AD and the New Chancellor they are here to make sure UT athletics continue to fall to the bottom .

Not to mention he is a terrible culture fit. It’s well documented that he hated the small handful of reporters that covered Rutgers football and was a chronic jackwad to them. Imagine what the scrutiny and microscope of coaching in the SEC is going to do to him. I just can’t believe this is even happening.

Hell no. I've already told my wife that I am done. It sucks. I feel like I am losing one of my favorite things in my life. If UT hires this guy, I am done until he is gone and until EVERY SINGLE person in the administration that approved this hire is gone as well.

Keep up the pressure on Twitter, use the #SchiaNO hashtag. Word out of Columbus is that Schiano is seeing this reaction and having second thoughts. Tweet at him to let him know he is not wanted in Knoxville. Do not threaten violence, just make your feelings clear.

I support anyone in the position until their performance demonstrates to me they are undeserving. If it is indeed Schiano he better be winning significantly by year 3, I see this as a kick the can down the road hire unworthy of UT football and he will be on a very short time frame with me.

Personally, I don't believe he's the hire. I can't believe it until it happens. People can debate what he did or didn't know about Sandusky until their blue in the face. Just the association with that horrifically evil situation is enough that I don't think Currie will go within 100 yards of this hire. After Currie's "coach of the highest integrity and character" comments, there's no way.

I won't let anyone in that administration or whichever carpetbagging jackass they hire as coach take this program and all the great memories associated with it away from me but I can sure cut off any and all financial support and find other things to do on Saturdays.

Stunning that Currie could be this tone deaf and make this hire.

Apathy will be worse than Battle in the 70s right off the bat.
