Jesus, a bunch of babies here.

I'm not very excited about a Schiano hire, but it's mother****ing Tennessee and it will never stop being my team. Fans that "don't care if Schiano succeeds" and are done regardless will not be missed. We're better off without you losers. Those kinds of toxic fans have contributed to Tennessee's downfall.

No it’s people like you that accepts anything from the administration and don’t care if we win. Enjoy picking out any Seat you want and keep yelling, I’m sur parking want be a problem. Your right about one thing you better off without us, the feeling is mutual.

Cannot support someone with those allegations.

Until I hear it from Currie's mouth, this is another load of crap rumor. I wait for the press conference.

But if it is him, I want him to clear his name. I want that ginger snap assistant coach that accused him of witnessing anything to fully recant and issue an apology to Schiano and the world. If he saw nothing and gets clear, I can support him.

Otherwise? I will react the same way I would have reacted to Lane Kiffin being hired. No effing way.

I will support the fanbase in getting Currie ran out of town on a hot barbed rail if he is hired!

And Davenport. Schiano may or may not be the choice, but a coaching hire is a talent hire - not a business decision. We've hired three damn BS (business school grads) in a row to be the AD when we should have been hiring an ex-coach who knows athletics and coaching. We didn't need another damn fool who thinks he learned how to manage stuff - that's not at all knowing anything about the business at hand. This hire if true is what come of that stupidity.

We just fired a foolish coach who thought coaching was all about systems and managing. The clown never had an instinct for actually doing the job at hand - coaching.

Everyday for the last 30+ years i have worn at least one piece of UT apparel. If he is hired today is my last day! Not another dime to support UT.

This hire is a statement that our AD is lazy or incompetent. If the goal was to hire Schiano, then he could have been hired immediately, all you really needed to do was pick up the phone. So was Currie just lazy in taking so long? Or did he actually try for any of a large number of better coaches and failed with all of them and just settled? In which case, failure = incompetence.

From a purely Xs and Os standpoint, Schiano doesn't look like the worst hire. But, if you're going to gamble with a guy on his level (I know Schiano was a head coach, but that was years ago and mixed results effectively render that experience questionable), why not go for someone like Venables who is younger, and who was never implicated in supporting a child molestation cover-up?

No way. Some things are way more important than CFB. If they make the hire, all my gear will be incinerated, and we won’t be back until Coach S AND Currie are gone.

This is what happens when currie sitting around with his finger up his azz waiting to see what coaches take what job. And now again we get the scum at the bottom of the bucket. Im sure NOBODY wanted schiano and we just got whats left. If this hire is true then currie should be hung by his nutts, from the shower.

this hire is not about Ws and Ls.

This guy is culpable to child sex abuse.

NO I will not support this hire. I won't support this program until he's gone.
