.....I correctly picked the won/loss record for both 2009 and 2010 in the spring of those years. I missed on last year 7-5 because of injuries. I always consult my crystal ball (my gut) during spring practice then make my call and stay with it.

This year my crystal ball is telling me 9-3, and I was not quite prepared for that....but my crystal ball usually wins out.

I see no reason to give this team the benefit of the doubt when guessing if they would be special or not. They could be, but the players and coaches seem like they just can't set themselves up for success.

Now, the basketball team has a chance to be special. Wish November were here!!

??? I wasn't trying to get anyone to talk bad about the defense. I was just trying to get people to talk about the defense in general because I'm interested in what yalls thoughts are on it, and I've heard plenty on the offense already.

Doubtful. This team and staff has found numerous way to be very non special. I do hope they can find a way to be special.
