I think it's well over 300 members in total. kckempf might have to correct me again, though lol. Not all of those actually march in every given show, though. Pregame and Circle Drill in particular have a set amount of people. Circle Drill is the most competitive, I'd say, as well as the hardest show by far imo. I was lucky enough to get and keep my spot for both Pregame and Circle Drill last year, but many were kicked out of theirs if they couldn't perform at the required level or were incompetent (not marking their drill charts, late to practice, etc.). It's a lot more competitive than many realize. The Pride wants to be the best college marching band in the US, no doubt. Upperclassmen usually are guaranteed a spot, though, so I won't have to deal with that this year as long as I handle my business when I go to band camp on the 7th.
You can count the numbers from the charts. When I was in we marched 192 winds in pre game and Circle Drill (with majorettes, guard, drums, and drum major the total was somewhere above 260). In 2003 we were absurdly short in numbers and some of the graduate and undergraduate assistants had to dress when there were injuries or illness. Now y'all have alternates, so, they have something to compel you to perform your best.
