In his Rivals video at 1:30 the kid delivers a 20 yard pass on the run, throwing across his body, with defenders in his face, on a dime. Looks like he has a natural cannon, great mobility, and good vision. I'm not a scout but that video is pretty impressive. Also, 23 TDs and 4 INTs is nice to hear considering our turnover woes. Some of you people are just miserable.

As for the star-gazers, sorry but there was no chance we were getting a top 10 type QB this class. There's just too much QB talent on the roster already with JG, Dormady, and S-Jones.

P.S. Don't forget that Josh Dobbs' recruiting profile was pretty similar to McBride's: 3-star, very athletic, not heavily recruited by other elite programs, etc.

Just think if QD and SJ both transferred and something happen that Jancek had to come in because we didn't get McBride.

the kid's highlight video is extremely impressive.
He is very elusive and throws it 60 yards seemingly with ease.

We needed a QB.

I like it. Then again, I'm not gonna bash a kid for wanting to son the orange and white because of his * ranking.

I hate hate hate to use this comparrison, but in his film he kinda looks like a very mobile Andrew Luck.

I HATE LUCK AND THE COLTS THO. F them.

he's a 3* because he's in texas and its deep talent pool. i just got done watching his jr highlights and they are very impressive. he can make all the throws, shows good touch and has sneaky quick manziel-like wheels. anyone who wants to talk crap that he's a 3* needs to watch his jr highlights on hudl.

Nice that the kid played 6A in Tx. I'm sure he has played against a bit of D1 talent and speed. Hope great things for him in Knoxville.

Congrats Will and good luck at UT.

Awesome amount of talent in TX. I love how well he moves to his left. When he decides to run he does it with purpose.

I consider this a huge upgrade from the previous kid that we had committed. This kid has a nice arm, nice wheels, and is pretty accurate in his film.

Position of need for this class...check.

Duel threat that can run...check.

Strong throwing arm...check.

Can throw with a good touch...check.

Can hit the target while running...check.

Takes care of the ball to limit INT's...check.

Pisses off the Nega-Vols...check = TOUCHDOWN!!!

BOOOOOM!!!

On the bright side, maybe a 3* QB will help our defense by keeping them on the field longer to gain more experience.
