I cannot imagine Chris getting any playing time in the Association. On top of that, I cannot imagine him starting for most teams in Europe.
I imagine Lofton will test the waters of professional basketball for a year or two, then end up on a bench somewhere, learning how to coach.
Lofton can make big money in Israel, Turkey, et al. As long as his hubris doesn't make him think he can play in the top levels in Italy or Spain, he's fine. Australia would also be a good option.I cannot imagine Chris getting any playing time in the Association. On top of that, I cannot imagine him starting for most teams in Europe.

Ok I am a Vol fan but I think that Lofton played like crap this year. I have had my problems with Lofton. Yeah at times he would drop a ton of point but at other times he would disappear. He isn't a great dribbler and can't really create a shot of the dribble. Plus he is a bum on defense. However he is a great contested shooter. He kind of reminds me of Jordan Farmar. I could see Lofton going to a team with a star player that could kick it out to him and have him shoot the 3 ball. So I think he could go late 2 round or picked up in free agency.
Why should professional basketball adopt anything from the college game? There's a simple reason the NBA focuses on dollars and cents. It's a business.concur, but that is sad. if only the nba could adopt the atmosphere of college basketball. oh well, i guess all professional sports our doomed to dollars and cents instead of traditions and loyalties. its a shame
