I love to see people trying to use Michigan as a measuring stick of what we can do to Florida. Do some of you actually believe we are as good as Michigan?

Pessimistic, optimistic. It doesnt really matter. We are all Vol fans in here.

The ND / Boston College game will interest me. That may tell whether the UGA win was signature win or just beating a 4 & 8 like team.

I will have what your having. We gave up school record for yards on defense uga gives up on avg around 300 to tech most ever believe was 330 and worry is uga is more talented than we are and their defense is stout. They have best rb tandem in college ball.and frankly most people don't trust our coaches....when you lose as much as we have in past decade and lost to top 25teams this tends to happen. We should win but I will wait to see it first. I'm at the point they are going to have to prove they can continue win the tough games. At this point it's not just about the players it's honestly can this staff win big games. Can Butch Jones....history says not much of a chance. Dj shockley was asked on sec now who needs win this game most he said uf. He said even though they have won east two years in a row they want to win championships and that's their expectations. A loss would be bad sign for jim...flip script to us if butch drops this one then what.....that's right nothing......because our expectations are not the same at Tennessee anymore. I do not like the fact that's our outlook for our program. I have always been vol fan. Always will....

We won't. Not to mention we probably won't even score three touchdowns. This will not be a high scoring game. Both offenses aren't very good with a slight edge to UT but UT's defense isn't as good as UF's so that does not have the recipe for an offensive clinic for either team.

I didn't spew any disrespectful crap. I just briefly answered questions.

It's hard for me to draw definite conclusions about Team 121 this early in the season.

I do think the Vols could actually be pretty dang good this year. CBJ made some good and needed staff changes. I was impressed by the comeback win over GT.

I think the Vols offense looks like it'll be good -- talented, balanced and productive. But I have to withhold judgement on the defense until I see more games.

If UT's D has trouble stopping UF's lame offense that won't be a good sign. And if they do stop them, I'll wonder some if it's because UF sux so bad on offense.

I expect UT to beat UF. Assuming y'all do, I still dont think we'll really know how good Team 121 will be (especially on D) versus ranked comppetition until the UGA game.

TSIO: I'm expecting Bama's oline play to be considerably better by then than it showed vs FSU. If so, the offense (both rushing and passing) should be better than it was last season. And two injured starting LBs will back pretty soon. I think the defense will be dang good, as usual. So, I think Bama will be able to control the los and win solidly. If I said otherwise, I'd be fibbing.
