only reason we lost to vandy lastnight is cause our team gave up...they were sending a message to dooley...and u can take that to the first bank if u hurry u can catch dooley....franklin has no class what so ever...dooley didn't win games but he didn't lower himself to franklin either!

Still waiting for, like, an actual reason. A simple no isn't good enough.

Strength of victory doesn't fly, either, since that's basically impossible with Vandy's talent.

He wouldn't be a douche bag if he was our coach. :banghead2: He did have Vandy ready to play. More than i can say for us.

I hope everyone realizes the circumstances last night. There was no way UT beats any team last night. Perfect storm for Franklin and Vandy to finally beat UT

I would be very disappointed in we hired JF. He has done NOTHING. 2 seasons as a head coach and his record is 13-11 overall and 0-1 in a bowl game.

Lets hire a coach that has proven himself and doesn't sound like a used car salesman every time he speaks.

James Franklin: 13 wins, 1 over a bowl-eligible team (Wake Forest last year), none against a team with a winning record. None. Not one. Who wants that?

Im going to puke if I hear Petrino or Franklin one more time. There are some things you just don't do, and hiring them falls in the "don't do" category. Besides, there are lots of great coaches out there.

And this is Tennessee. I have to believe its going to be the top school looking for a coach this year.

Come on folks. Franklin has done a great job with Vandy and he would be a Bruce Pearl like face of a program. He'll get a chance to go somewhere better soon. Since he's at Vandy, UT probably won't seriously consider him, but we could do much, much worse.
