Cowher is #2 on my list, Gruden #1... I'd really be happy with either one of them.

I'm starting to warm up to Leach as well the more I read about him.

Why is anyone even talking about the Chin. We have a much better chance of Mike Hamilton being the football coach than Cowher coming to UT. Give me a break!!!

In all honesty it looked like that nasty gross burnt Texas orange not that beautiful, glaring, power T orange... but we gotta give him a break, this is all new to him, he has only known that he is our favorite choice for a few days now.

Anyone else really routing for the Cleveland Browns tonight and for the rest of the season... the more they win, the less likely they are to fire Romeo... the less likely they are to go after Cowher... just sayin

Cowher's dreaming of the Carolina panthers job, if it ever opens up, since he's from the carolinas.

i remember reading somewhere that cowher retired so he could be with his daughters while they were still in highschool and now the last one graduates this year and has committed to attend Wofford in SC. It is very close to Clemson so I'm wondering if the organge tie is Clemson orange.

I don't see John Fox going anywhere soon. I'd be all for Cowher here, but right now there is no reason to even speak of a coaching change in Carolina. Of course the way Delhomme is playing, that could change rather quickly!

edit: clearly you weren't saying Fox was going anywhere, just my :twocents:

Cowher would be an absolute awesome hire! Talk about a roll up the sleeves and get to work kind of guy! I think the chances of getting him to come to the College side of things is slim at best, but hey, let's hope the Vols get a coach in Cowher's class. . . :rock:

We should know shortly. . .!

Jerry Jones made a big mistake in not trying to hire Cowher for the Dallas job. Now he's stuck with Wade Phillips or the overrated Jason Garrett.
