So if you have a weak o line and still need to run the ball, and Arian while basically a decent back is better running between the tackle, why would'nt you want to at least look at what a Arian at FB and Hardesty or Creer at TB do? I'm mean geez whats to lose?I hate the 2 back system, myself. No running back is in there long enough to get a feel for the game. Yet, it all starts up front. Our offensive line can't get off the line and create anything.
Of course it doesn't sound like that to you. I'm sure you think that it wasn't Crompton, he just didn't have anywhere to go with the ball.

I mean the situation just doesn't sound logical. So Arian is running with the football. Then Brandon Spikes runs past him, turns around, starts running again and catches Arian from behind? I know Arian is no track star, but do you really think a middle linebacker could do that to him?
But hey, thanks for being the authority on class.
I think that I am completely unsurprised when a middle lb catches AF from behind. I've seen his lack of speed enough over the last 3 years. I just wonder why you don't see that it hurts the offense? If he's our best option despite his lack of speed, then so be it. I don't believe that he is and doug matthews doesn't seem to either. As for your last comment, I don't understand your insult.

no, believe it or not, everyone's favorite pass blocker got ran down from behind for a loss by the OLB tailing the play.
sorry if the schematics don't make sense to you.
Shocking. So you think a middle linebacker caught Arian Foster from behind in the backfield? You understand that means the LB ran behind Arian and then turned around, came back to him, and then tackled him. Foster is not that slow. If that happened, Foster was waiting behind his blockers or something. He wasn't sprinting ahead and a MLB caught him from behind.
What I find shocking is your inability to acknoedge that arian's lack of speed hurts the offense. As far as your shot at me personally, hope you feel better about yourself.

His speed doesn't hurt the offense as much as his 5 YPC helps it. The only thing that Foster does that hurts this team is his fumblitis. Would he be better if he had more speed? Of course. Is he still a better back than Hardesty is even without top notch speed? Absolutely. Every back on this roster has it's shortcomings. What I find shocking is your inability to acknoedge that arian's lack of speed hurts the offense. Hardesty's lack of vision, pass blocking abillity, and recieving skills would hurt this offense much more that Foster's lack of speed.
