Agreed about being a week prep conference because I played in it many moons ago....But, I traveled to Hunington (sp) three times to watch him play and he would have been a beast in any division of prep football...The kid is a player and has a motor that is undescribable...Folks in carroll, stewart, houston, and dekalb county say that he is the next Al Wilson....Have to wait and see I guess
Chris Donald played 2a football in West Tennessee. That's probably one of the weakest sectors of Tennessee football. I hope Donald ends up being a stud here at Tennessee but I didn't expect anything out of him this year except maybe some speacial teams PT.
That's asinine. Traditionally, I'd say it's quite strong; this year may be another story, but is the exception that proves the rule.
Teams like Milan, Huntingdon, Martin Westview...
Players like Chad Clifton, Ernest Fields (semi-old school), Tim Priest (old school), Justin Harrell, Will Ofenheusle, and now, Chris Donald (give him time).
No it's not asinine, I didn't say that there hasn't been good players come from the area. I said it isn't as strong as other parts of the state which it isn't.
Traditionally? The past has nothing to do with the talent that Chris Donald played against which isn't at the level as other parts of the state.
I was just trying to say that Donald played against a lower level of competition than most of the recruits we signed which is true.
For instance, look at the tough teams he played: Westview, Camden, Milan
vs Chris Walker's competition: MBA, Brentwood Academy, Melrose, McCallie, MUS, Father Ryan
Amen....Chris Donald is going to be a stud at UT....Hope he plays Middle LB next year, then you will see what the hype is all about chavisut....I am telling you that alot of really knowledgable football fans in that area call him the second coming of Al Wilson....He will shine!!!Yeah, and while you are at it, look at LaDanian Tomlinson's competition in college: UTEP, Rice, SMU, and Tulsa
vs Ron Dayne's: Ohio St., Michigan, Penn St., Michigan St.
so what i am saying, it doesn't matter til they get on the field.

What are you talking about, I'm not saying Chris Donald will not be a great player. I've seen his highlight film and he was a beast and he did pretty good at the AA game. I'm just saying that he probably is having a harder time adjusting to college because of the level he played at.
Donald is a great LB thats where they need to leave him....next year you are going to have ben martin, gerald williams and rae sykes at DE....I am hoping to see Donald, Mccoy and Mayo as LB's...be a good group IMO....from what i hear Gerald Williams and Rae Sykes if they can make the grades to get in will bring some serious force to line...(which it needs)....
