Why isn't the board in full melt down?

While the same people who viewed Russia as harmless for years because Obama told them to are now all of a sudden seeing Russia as a major threat while feeling high and mighty about it.

Meanwhile, 3rd party is just sitting here enjoying the olympic-level mental gymnastics the hypocrites on both sides are exercising.

It's hilarious, you can see the tiny cogs turning in Wolf Blitzers head as he tries to comprehend someone who doesn't espouse the enforced groupthink

Paul is on point here, btw

What you and Wolf don't get is that Rand Paul would be saying this no matter who the POTUS is. You and Wolf would be saying something completely different if this were Obama's handiwork.

if Trump causes the break down of the two party system I will consider him the best president of my memory. even if it isn't by design.

It's truly amazing. If people had memories and attention spans that lasted longer than 5 minutes, they'd realize what's going on.

Just a few short years ago Obama/Hillary tried a "reset" with Putin in 2009 that was at least mocked by Republicans, if not called dangerous. This was right after Russia invaded part of Georgia a year earlier. Romney was openly mocked by Obama during a 2012 debate at Romney's claim that Russia was our greatest geopolitical threat.

In 2018 the same types of claims are being made, but just switch the names of the parties making them.

The fact is that what Trump says and what he actually does are frequently different. I think even his many detractors would agree with this. His rhetoric about Russia and Putin in particular is "out of bounds" compared to what politicians are supposed to say. But what about action? He's given offensive weaponry to Ukraine, which is being used against Russian forces in Crimea and eastern Ukraine. Obama wouldn't even do that, fearing it was too much of an escalation.

"Surely there isn't a Republican dumb enough to try to defend Dimwit Dotard."

"Hey, there's some dude at the door with 2 black eyes covered with grass clippings."

It's as if Blitzer has a hearing problem or a comprehension problem. He chose not to recognize any of the simplistic points Paul made. It's no wonder CNN is a bucket of **** these days.

He didn't give 2 craps about what Rand said. He had a narrative to push.
