Grew up with a high school coach in the state champ game from Memphis and is as humble of a guy there is... in fact he's been to a few champ games and maybe has 1

UT!!!!! I'm so sick of some of our fan base. ( like ReaderVol ) just accepting
mediocrity , it makes me freaken sick, go be a Vandy fan. The way ReaderVol acts you'd think he worked in the Athletic dept. making excuses for everything that has happened this year. UT is a top 10 to 15 football program , it's time we go spend some money on a coach and start acting like it, if not ,then why bother. This fan base is a little more vocal than others when things go wrong because it's been going wrong here for so long, It's time to get it right. GET IT RIGHT UT,not next year, NOW!!!
One more thing, this is directed towards you (ReaderVol )and the "Fans" that think like you, if you don't think UT should be competing for championships more than not then GTFO and STFU . That is all . GO VOLS

He is trying to get support for a raise and extension while also trying to find another job in order to re-start his clock. No way in heck I wouldl give him an extension - would possible give him cost of living raise.

An extension would give him additional failure money A/K/A buy-out.

Why has Jones been quiet? I heard it was because he's been busy writing individual notes of apology to all the VolNation good 'ole boys who've slagged him the last two weeks.

I think it may have been directed toward a certain segment of fans. Either way, I don't see it as a big deal....heat of the moment comment not meant to be seen or heard.

Firing all of the assistants would almost certainly lead to a catoic and disastrous 2017 season. Just look at Dooley's final season when he replaced most of his assistants it was a complete disaster.

new assistants - same assistants - it is going to be FUGLY if Jones is our head coach in 2017. He is in over his head in the SEC!

When did the Negavols convene and adopt "We don't accept mediocrity" as their campaign slogan? Pulling for your team to win with the current coach isn't "accepting" anything. It's a different approach than HE SUCKS AND WILL NEVER WIN. Get over yourselves! The coach succeeds or fails on his own...not by the votes on a message board. If he's a success and stays or a failure and leaves, we'll all be right at the same time.

I don't know, but they have managed to figure out that's the one that crawls up my spine. Dirty little Billy bastages. Haha.
