He might have told the team he was suspended for the year and that would have sent a message. Didn’t necessarily have to tell the world. We won’t ever know if he did it yesterday or the day after it happened.

So the team knows he did something wrong, but there’s no lesson for the other young players who are paying attention? UF should have policies, and the SEC should have policies, and the NCAA should have policies that clearly outline the offense and its punishment. Instead we find out that it’s entirely up to the discretion of the head coach to handle as “team discipline”, as if it were a curfew violation. Crimes in public, punished in private is not a way to show people that you have good “culture”.
