Remember Tee just interviewed for his first HC position at Georgia southern and they didn't even think he is ready

I don't think Peyton has ever had a great relationship with any of his back up QBs. When he left Indy, didn't he say before they were going to draft Luck that he didn't want to mentor/tutor a successor?


Seems like he doesn't like sharing the limelight.

It’s mutual. Peyton’s mad because Tee’s street is longer and Tee’s mad because Peyton’s street doesn’t go under the bleachers.

Peyton is jealous because Tee has a normal forehead and Archie always said a fivehead was better.

So when you look up who won the national championship in 1998, what does it say? Tee Martin? Or does it say Tennessee Volunteers?

If you want to attribute a single person's name to beating UF in 1998, then saying anyone else than Al Wilson is beyond dumb.

Thank you. So and so beat another team is one of the stupidest concepts around. It's a team sport people. It's team v team. Geeeesh.

I would say if Peyton doesn't like him, he is jealous, but I have not heard he didn't like him. After all Tee and team won NC the year after Peyton graduated. May be afraid if he comes to UT as coach and is successful, he will be more popular than Peyton. But I don't know that he doesn't like him.

Yeah, but Ga Southern isn't Tennessee. See they hire football coaches based on merit and qualifications.

Facts are Tee played like crap the first half of the season in 98 but came around in the Ga game. The team won in spite of Tee until the Ga game. He also struggled in the Ark game but we know how that ended. In 1999, Tee played outstanding, frankly as good as any Tennessee about since but team was buried in jealousy and future plans.
