Always look like he just got penetrated and is enjoying it immensely whenever he talks about UT?

Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen someone get such a smug look of self-satisfaction every time the outcome of the UT vs UF game is mentioned.

Is he really so in love with the thought of Kiffin losing to the Gators that he forgets the beatdown the put on his alma mater?


MESSAGE TO MARK MAY. Acting like a giddy little school girl at the thought of others losing doesn't make Ohio State's losses any less shameful.

Maybe you should rant less and research more, but your boy went to Pittsburgh.

My bad, thought I remember him saying he went to Ohio State. Oh well, the sentiment still applies.

He relishes the thought of UT/Kiffin getting beaten by UF in ways that don't seem healthy for a grown man.

I think it's just to completely toolish look in his eyes that gets to me.

If I didn't know any better, I would think he went to USC with the way he talks. USC this. USC that. Every year he picks USC to go undefeated.

I see where you are coming from but I have to admit he makes more sense than his counter part sylvester the cat. He can be brutally honest and right now its just that its about our Vols. I do remember him having us picked to be a dark horse for the NT back in 07 so I don't know if he totally hates us.

I have a question he also said CLK said Tebow and the Gators weren't that good. When did I miss this? I dont ever remember him saying that?

I dont think Mark May dislikes UT.
He picked UT to win the SEC a couple of years ago and got burned.

He loved Fulmer, used to pick us to win all the time, matter of fact picked us as a darkhorse Natl Champion in 2007 I believe.

Mark May was an ex-offensive lineman, he might like Fulmer for that reason, but most of the analysts try to be impartial, except Holtz being a ND homer.

Actually Mark May isn't that bad... He has been beating up on Tennessee this year because the past couple years he has actually picked UT to win but they didn't.

I specifically remembered LAST YEAR that Mark May said "I choose Tennessee to beat UCLA very easily today. At #18 in the country, UT is very under-rated and this will be a statement game for them."

So...I don't know what you're talking about.

I have noticed that with him specifically. But the real question is why does EVERY MEDIA TYPE get that way regarding this. Every one of them acts as though they WANT Tennessee to get plastered. Just repeating it 5000 times a day for hype-sake is bad enough, but they all want it to happen. That is where the credibility falls.

The folks that aren't seeing this should just pay a little more attention. This isn't about the past few years, he's just talking about this game.

Yep, I like Mark better than anyone else on the ESPN set.

He basically just calls it like he sees it. He's the most objective in the bunch. If he says we're going to get our tails whipped, it's because he believes it. There's no spite in that.
